I’m glad to be back here with the PlayStation Posse and talk about a game that I’m looking forward to – Age of Booty. No, it’s not an online dating game.
It’s a casual, pirate-themed, online strategy game from some of the makers of Halo.
Actually, I consider this more of a multiplayer party game because it’s really easy to play and allows for a lot of smack talk. Yarrr!
Here are more details:
• Release date: Soon (I’ll confirm when I get a solid date)
• Price: Only $9.99!
• Trophies: No comment at this time.
• Add on content: Lots of free map packs in the future plus some cool expansions.
• Players: Up to 8 players online – You can play a 4 player local match then take the team online!
• Demo:Available a couple weeks after launch with online multiplayer matches!

According to an article published on the PlayStation Games & Media News site last week, a PlayStation Network version of Prince of Persia Classic is on its way.
The PSN version appears to be the same as the XBLA release from last year, which saw a graphical and control upgrade to the original (and retro frustrating) Prince of Persia from 1989.
There's currently no price announced for the title, but if we had to guess, it would be $10 like the XBLA version.
Finally, Ubisoft has been contacted and asked about a release date, more details to come as they are available.

Per Ro Hernandez (PLAYSTATION Store Team) via PS Blog today:
The last time I posted it was regarding our special E3 section on the PlayStation Store. This time around I wanted to tell you about a new offering that you’ll see tomorrow.
In addition to all the free themes you’ve already been getting and will continue to get on the PlayStation Store now, you’ll have the option to upgrade and purchase premium themes to customize the look of your PS3’s XMB.
We have linked up with a few partners, Smobile & Disruptive Media Publishers, to distribute premium themes from PlayStation Network.
They have content offerings that range in type from NCAA College licenses to beauties on the beach to original cartoons and anime. These themes were created specifically for the PS3 and have special backgrounds, XMB icons and, in some cases, sounds.
We have created a new “Premium Themes” section under Themes & Wallpapers ... More »

Nuclear winter in Washington, D.C. and mutated humans and beasts are really not so happy about the way things turned out. Do you dare leave the bunker and confront their radiation-amplified personality issues?

Swedish company Dice are most well known for their now, almost legendary, Battlefield series.
However, being fed up with doing the same old thing, they've been hard at developing cyberpunk FPR, (First Person Runner), Mirrors Edge for PS3, Xbox 360 and P.C.
Last week rumors on the net began to surface, regarding the release of a Mirror's Edge demo onto the PSN. We were all quite disappointed last Thursday when this turned out to be nothing more than open speculation.
BUT... There is a demo of Mirrors Edge... And it is coming to you...
On November 2nd unfortunately, just one week prior to the game's North American release date of November 11th. Still it's better to at least know that it is on the way, than to be endlessly wondering.
Gives me a bit more time to get back into shape if i'm gonna be running everywhere!
