Recently many users have received their Netflix Instant Streaming Disc that began shipping a few days ago.

As mentioned previously, the disc is required to use the Netflix steaming service on the PlayStation 3 until 2010, when a Firmware update will take its place.

Today JoyStiq (linked above) has expanded on the initial announcement from earlier today that Netflix is officially hitting Sony's PS3 console.

According to Netflix, in order to use its steaming service on the PlayStation 3 the application disc will have to be in the PS3 until 2010.

Apparently Netflix won't have an integrated XMB solution until then, however, it is coming in a PS3...

The rumor over the weekend has now been officially confirmed, Netflix is indeed coming soon to Sony's PS3 console!

Today Microsoft's Major Nelson has announced that they will be offering an additional $50 rebate on the XBox 360 Elite until October 5, 2009.

This comes just weeks after the price drop of the XBox 360 Elite from $399 to $299, meaning after rebate it's just $249- not bad at all!

At E3 Microsoft said that Xbox Live users would need to be Gold members (requiring an annual fee) to access Last.fm without paying for a Last.fm-specific subscription.
