Star Wars Battlefront: Elite Squadron will launch this fall on the Sony PSP and Nintendo DS, as announced today by LucasArts.

The game will follow the story of X2, a Force-sensitive clone trooper created from the DNA of a Jedi Master. After experiencing troll's remorse and joining the Rebellion, X2 eventually comes into conflict with his evil clone brother X1.

The game includes a special "Heroes and Villains" mode where you can play as classic Star Wars characters like Luke Skywalker and Boba Fett as well as characters from Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed.

Players will now also be able to fight on multiple levels. You can stay on the ground and fight on foot or commandeer a vehicle. You can even take the fight to space and do battle on capital ships.

GTA Chinatown Wars for Nintendo DS has been leaked online just before the weekend, and many users at GBATemp.net (linked above) have confirmed it works with a variety of carts.

The official streetdates for the title are March 17, 2009 for North America and March 20, 2009 for Europe.

Apparently it works on the G6 real with latest firmware, SCDS1 (clean, no patches with latest firmware and AKRPG (AKAIO).

To quote: "At the start when you turn on your DS with your supercard, go to the GTA NDS file on the top screen, then in the bottom screen you will see the file information, at the right hand side you will see ''SET PATCH'' click that, and you will notice that the top one is ''ENABLE PATCH'; which is ticked, well untick that and start the game!!"

Also, the DS-X is reportedly capable of running it with the MaxCrassMethod and others by using this save game file on your cart:

As part of an article investigating Nintendo DS piracy, an NDS pirate was interviewed to ask him his thoughts on the whole affair.

He commented that as he has access to so many games, he only plays them for five minutes before loading up something else and essentially enjoys gaming LESS.

For any pirates out there, has easy access to game also ruined your appetite for serious gaming?

To quote: Of course, these viewpoints fail to counter the fact that video game piracy is fundamentally wrong.

Games may cost a lot of money but they also cost a lot to produce, and when you pirate a game you might otherwise have purchased you're essentially robbing the publisher and developer of potential reward for their hard work. Just because it's easy to do doesn't make it any less illegal or immoral.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars looks like it's going to be a pretty fun mesh of old school and new school GTA gameplay. The fact it's one of the few interesting Nintendo DS games that isn't an RPG is also a plus point.
