10w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli has detailed The Last of Us future PS3 DLC plans for fans today.
To quote: We've been hard at work making the DLC content for The Last of Us - and I know that all our Season Pass holders are eagerly waiting for any updates or news. Today, we're revealing the first of three Season Pass DLC drops: the Abandoned Territories Map Pack.
Weather the opposing Faction and the random, dynamic dust storm on the Suburbs map. Explore a layered map of an overgrown urban environment with wild giraffes in the background in the Bus Depot map. Stalk around in a dark, eerie, moonlit, environment - the perfect setting for some serious stealth - in the Hometown map.
Bookstore features a stacked, bi-level layout adding a highly unique dose of vertical gameplay. Excited yet? These maps will be available October 15.
When we initially talked about the Season Pass we mentioned making our first ever story-driven single player DLC. This is an ambitious story with strong ties into the narrative of The Last of Us.
We just wrapped up a long casting process for a new character, and we're starting our performance capture...
These will be available via the in-game store or the PlayStation Store over the coming week globally! Purchase the Ancient theme bundle to get the exclusive Egyptian Mask for Chloe.

26w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli has revealed The Last of Us PS3 Multiplayer details today alongside a video below.
To quote: Over the past few days we invited media to play our The Last of Us multiplayer mode called Factions. Most of these impressions are available online now but you'll be seeing more as our review embargo on the game ends very soon.
The multiplayer is an extension of the themes you'll find in the single player game. The moment-to-moment survival present in the single-player campaign is integral to the multiplayer.
You'll feel tension and need to be intensely alert at all times. We want to show you a glimpse of what the gameplay looks like.
In Factions you'll have to pick a side and roll with the Hunters or the Fireflies. Each player starts with a small clan of survivors that you need to keep alive and grow. There are two modes in which you can accomplish the growth and survival of your Clan.
In Supply Raid, you'll have to scavenge the area and keep your team alive. Your team has a pool of twenty reinforcements. Once the reinforcements have been exhausted, the match will go into sudden death.
In Survivors, you're going to have to be extremely vigilant. There are no respawns. Once you're gone you've been eliminated...
37w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli has announced today that Uncharted 3: Oddball PlayStation 3 DLC is out today.
Below are the details, to quote: The UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer Free-to-Play launched a few weeks ago and we've seen a healthy uplift to our community, to the tune of over three hundred and fifty thousand downloads of the Free-to-Play client to date globally.
We're very excited to see our community grow, and we're stoked to keep expanding the world of UNCHARTED to as many people as possible.
To keep that momentum going, as promised, we're making new DLC available for purchase every month until June 2013. This month we're recognizing Extraterrestrial Abductions Day - or a day around it anyway - by unveiling our Oddball themed character parts for your UNCHARTED 3 Multiplayer characters.
Why Oddball? Well, these character parts defy classification as they don't quite fit among the numerous other parts we'll have coming out over the next few months, and Extraterrestrial Abductions Day is a bit of an odd holiday anyway. Here's a glimpse at some of the...
40w ago - Sony Social Media Specialist Justin Massongill shared an interview with Naughty Dog today, who talks about their recent Uncharted 3 PS3 Multiplayer free-to-play decision.
To quote: Naughty Dog, purveyors of fine action-adventure games including the upcoming survival action game The Last of Us, made a bold move yesterday.
They decided to make the core multiplayer component of their most recent game, the globetrotting epic Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, free.
In a world of microtransactions and freemium stigmas, gamers naturally had questions about this decision. Why Free-to-Play? How will this affect the game's community?
We caught up with Uncharted 3 Game Director Justin Richmond, who gave us an inside look at the company's thought process behind giving away the core multiplayer mode of one of Naughty Dog's most popular games.
PlayStation.Blog: Why Free-to-Play? What opportunities does this model present that aren't there in the more traditional one?
"Free-To-Play takes away a huge barrier that exists for many players."
