88w ago - This weekend PlayStation 3 developer deank has updated the multiMAN PS3 backup game manager to v02.07.00 followed shortly by bugfix versions 02.07.01 and 02.07.02, which allow users to backup all forms of media and game discs including Blu-ray, DVD, PS2 and PSX with the changes detailed below.
89w ago - Today PlayStation 3 developer deank has updated the PS3 Game Backup Manager to multiMAN version 02.06.02, which incorporates a refresh speed modification that still maintains the homebrew application's overall performance.
multiMAN versions 01.10.00-02.06.00 ran in VSYNC mode (it caused barely-noticed tearing because of the double refresh rate). Latest update compensates the speed by lowering the refresh speed, while keeping the performance. It means no tearing (unless you really want it - switch with SELECT+SQUARE)..
Opening a SIDE menu will make current entry icon zoom 8x and visible enough in 480p/576p modes. Looks pretty in photo, music, game/fave/retro columns.
91w ago - Following up on his previous updates, today PlayStation 3 developer deank released another update to the PS3 backup manager bringing it to multiMAN version 02.04.00 (20110824-152900) which now allows write access to dev_flash via dev_blind.
Added: Option in XMMB Settings column: [Write access to /dev_flash via /dev_blind]
It means that you can enable write access to /dev_flash (using /dev_blind mount point) and manipulate its contents via FTP or File Manager mode. I used it to replace the .sprx files to disable Cinavia Protection (works!).
Files must be replaced in /dev_blind/vsh/module/ using either FTP or file manager mode in multiMAN. Actually it is quite easy to create a small standalone installer to do...
