Video: NinJHax Exploit Released, Runs Unsigned Code on Nintendo 3DS

4w ago - Following up on the Nintendo 3DS CFW and Cubic Ninja N3DS Exploit Game reveal, today Nintendo 3DS hacker Smealum released the NinJHax exploit (aka SSSpwn) which allows users to run unsigned code including a homebrew menu launcher on Nintendo 3DS portable consoles complete with a video demo below!

From the video's caption: This video showcases ninjhax, a brand new exploit just released to the public that lets any owner of the (surprisingly popular) game Cubic Ninja run unsigned code on their 3DS (new or old, XL or no, 2DS included) without the need for any extra hardware of any kind.

This launcher does not let users run pirated 3DS software.

pyMenu 0.1: The beginning

pyMenu was created in June 2012 as an entry to the VHBL Menu Contest and competed against yMenu (which was also created for that contest). Most of the work in pyMenu had gone to installing the pspsdk and modifying the python interpreter to be able to load homebrews in VHBL.

Also of note, a Nintendo Wii U Teardown Guide is now available followed by a second Nintendo Wii U Teardown Tutorial and Geoff Keighley of GameTrailers TV has [Register or Login to view links] that: The Wii U Firmware update is apparently about 5 gigs. No wonder it takes about an hour+ to download.
