6w ago - Social Media Manager Sid Shuman is here with a fresh video today showcasing The Last of Us on PlayStation 3 which introduces the infected below.
To quote: I'm ready for The Last of Us. This morally grey gem from the brilliant minds at Naughty Dog combines exploration, scavenging, and brutal hide-and-seek combat against hordes of deadly Infected that prowl the remains of a ravaged United States. June 14th can't come soon enough!
Not long ago, we asked The Last of Us Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley to give us an intimate tour of the game's sights and sounds.
Among many other topics, our new interview details the disturbing origins of the game's Infected, an idea which sprouted from nature documentaries.
Our discussion also plunges deeper into the turbulent but vital relationship between Joel and Ellie, as unlikely a pair of game protagonists as you're likely to find.
Please watch, and then leave your thoughts in the comments below!
42w ago - Giant Sparrow Creative Director Ian Dallas has posted up a video today introducing the king of The Unfinished Swan which is coming to PlayStation Network.
To quote: Like a lot of other great artists, our King is a little crazy.
He's the one who created the entire world that players will be exploring in The Unfinished Swan. And I don't want to give too much away, but the King built a lot of cool stuff. If you like all-white statue gardens, giant labyrinths, or colossal monuments to the King then you're in luck.
Unfortunately, most people don't like those things. At least not in their backyard. Turns out living in the middle of a giant labyrinth is pretty inconvenient, which is why just about everyone in the kingdom eventually moved away.
But the King is the sort of guy who goes right on building the stuff he wants no matter what other people think about it.
Whether or not that's a good thing depends on your point of view and -- like I said -- how you feel about giant labyrinths.
43w ago - Sony Blog Manager Fred Dutton has shared a video interview today with the man pulling the Puppeteer's PS3 strings below.
To quote: If nothing else, Sony's Gamescom 2012 show will be remembered for its bias away from en vogue browns and greys towards good old-fashioned primary colours.
From Tearaway and LittleBigPlanet Vita, to Diggs Nightcrawler and Ratchet & Clank: QForce, this year's press conference was big, bright and beautiful. Heck, even Killzone: Mercenary snuck a bit of neon into its debut trailer!
But perhaps the most colourful reveal of all was larger-than-life PS3 platformer Puppeteer, currently in development at Sony's Japan Studio. As explained in our announcement post last week, it's an eccentric affair that sees you step into the shoes of a young chap called Kutaro who has been imprisoned in a magical puppet realm by the maleficent Moon Bear King.
The trailer - which you can remind yourself of at the bottom of this post - looks brilliantly bonkers, and we're looking forward to bringing you more information on the game later this year as development progresses.
58w ago - Different Tuna's Head of Fresh Produce Gordon Midwood has shared a video today introducing Derrick The Deathfin, who will be swimming on PSN this Summer!
To quote: Derrick the Deathfin is the world's very first underwater papercraft game.
The action - of which there is plenty - takes place in an irreverent aquatic world full of paper, goofy fish, paper, arcade action, paper, wanton destruction, and paper.*
After Derrick's parents are brutally turned into soup he sets forth on a worldwide rampage of destruction in order to make himself feel a bit better.
On his travels he eats all manner of dopey delights for dinner, duels with paper enemies and decimates man-made cardboard monstrosities. Derrick also has a distinct fondness for picking up diamonds and jumping through burning tyres in the sky. Just like a real shark!
Derrick journeys through 32 beautiful, vibrant levels set across 11 environments and four continents. He is in a constant battle against his metabolism, needing to constantly eat to stay alive. He must move, groove, jump, race and puzzle his way through increasingly crazy challenges to attain paper-shark certified glory.

Imagine taking down a bunch of bad guys, only to realize that you've just created fuel for something far more terrifying. Backed into a corner, who gets the next bullet?
You'll be facing this decision in Columbia if you're unfortunate enough to get discovered by the Siren. Check out the clip below as Ken Levine, Nate Wells, and Shawn Robertson gives you a sneak peek...
