11w ago - Ubisoft Community Developer Gabriel Graziani shared a video today introducing the cast of Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag which is coming to both PS3 and PS4 platforms.
To quote: We're introducing a full crew of rowdy yet realistic buccaneers, privateers and straight-up pirates in Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, so we figured you would benefit from a little face-time with the roughest of them.
And who better to cry them out for you than Captain Edward Kenway himself, played by the talented Matt Ryan.
Widely renowned for his incredible charisma and mercurial temper, Captain Edward Kenway is joined by his Quartermaster and closest ally Adewale (played by Tristan D. Lalla.
The pair will quickly find themselves thrown in with the likes of the wiley and terrifying Edward "Blackbeard" Thatch, the gentlemanly yet morally grey Benjamin Hornigold and the downright jolly Stede Bonnet.
Meanwhile, the dauntless privateer Woodes Rogers seeks to eliminate the encroaching pirate threat festering in Nassau. But first, he'll have to contend with the wicked and merciless cut-throat Charles Vane (played by Ralph...

To quote: This week on PSN, the story of Daud - the legendary assassin behind the death of Dunwall's beloved Empress, Jessamine Kaldwin - concludes in Dishonored's final add-on: The Brigmore Witches.
Having been betrayed by your top lieutenant, Billie Lurk, in The Knife of Dunwall, you'll need to rely on two rival gangs - the Dead Eels and the Hatters - in order to make your way to Brigmore Mansion to confront The Brigmore Witches' main antagonist, Delilah.
To set the stage, we're giving you a first look at two in-game journals providing background on the rift between the Dead Eels and The Hatters. The groups are led by Lizzy Stride and Mortimer Hat (aka Geezer), respectively.
Excerpt from a City Watch River Patrol Report
William Cotter, captain of the merchant vessel, The Windover, reports that on the 23rd day of the Month of Nets his vessel was waylaid by the Dead Eels, a gang of notorious criminals known for acts of river piracy, wanton destruction, and smuggling. Prior to the blockade, the Windover was bound for Dunwall bearing medicinal supplies, food, and material goods from...
24w ago - Sony Blog Manager Fred Dutton posted up a video today introducing PlayStation 4 fans to Mark Cerny, a PS4 System Architect, Knack creator and one of the busiest men in gaming!
He also discussed the "Road to the PS4" live at Gamelab 2013 with a video HERE for those interested.
To quote: For most mortals, designing a brand new cutting edge gaming system from the ground up would be a full time job, and then some.
However, for none-more-diligent PS4 system architect Mark Cerny, that wasn't quite enough responsibility, so he set about crafting a launch title for the new platform at the same time.
Said title, Knack, is a lovely counterpoint to the bulging biceps of Killzone: Shadow Fall and the steely realism of #DRIVECLUB.
Harking back to classic action platformers of yore, such as Spyro the Dragon, Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter and so on, it's a bold, bright and hugely enjoyable romp that injects the PS4 launch line-up with a pleasing splash of color.
The day after the physical form of PS4 was finally unveiled at E3, I sat down with the hardest working man in the business to find out more about his twin endeavors.
31w ago - Social Media Manager Sid Shuman is here with a fresh video today showcasing The Last of Us on PlayStation 3 which introduces the infected below.
To quote: I'm ready for The Last of Us. This morally grey gem from the brilliant minds at Naughty Dog combines exploration, scavenging, and brutal hide-and-seek combat against hordes of deadly Infected that prowl the remains of a ravaged United States. June 14th can't come soon enough!
Not long ago, we asked The Last of Us Creative Director Neil Druckmann and Game Director Bruce Straley to give us an intimate tour of the game's sights and sounds.
Among many other topics, our new interview details the disturbing origins of the game's Infected, an idea which sprouted from nature documentaries.
Our discussion also plunges deeper into the turbulent but vital relationship between Joel and Ellie, as unlikely a pair of game protagonists as you're likely to find.
Please watch, and then leave your thoughts in the comments below!
66w ago - Giant Sparrow Creative Director Ian Dallas has posted up a video today introducing the king of The Unfinished Swan which is coming to PlayStation Network.
To quote: Like a lot of other great artists, our King is a little crazy.
He's the one who created the entire world that players will be exploring in The Unfinished Swan. And I don't want to give too much away, but the King built a lot of cool stuff. If you like all-white statue gardens, giant labyrinths, or colossal monuments to the King then you're in luck.
Unfortunately, most people don't like those things. At least not in their backyard. Turns out living in the middle of a giant labyrinth is pretty inconvenient, which is why just about everyone in the kingdom eventually moved away.
But the King is the sort of guy who goes right on building the stuff he wants no matter what other people think about it.
Whether or not that's a good thing depends on your point of view and – like I said – how you feel about giant labyrinths.
