New Media Manager 3.0 for PlayStation Portable Released!

Today we are launching a new version of Media Manager for the PSP that allows you to organize and sync your music, photos and other digital content.

The new media manager also grants access to the PlayStation Store through the PC and is designed to accommodate the expanding functionality of PSP. With the recent PSP firmware (v 5.01) update which gives you direct access to the PlayStation Store and the new media manager you have multiple ways to get content and manage it.

Here's a brief walk-thru of the PlayStation Store accessed via the Media Manager on the PC.





Consumers who own the retail version of Media Manager (v2.5) will be able to upgrade to the online version of Media Manager PRO (v3.0) for free.
 

PSP Media Manager Now Free To Download

366w ago - Sony's PSP Media Manager is a decent enough piece of software. You click, you drag, you browse, it gets the job done. Only problem is, for some ridiculous reason, you have to pay for it. Stupid!

Stupid in the West, at least: Sony have announced that Japanese consumers can now download the software free of charge from their PlayStation Store. Sucky news for us, right? Not even close. Fumble your way through the Japanese install and you'll find the program itself runs in English. Perfect, legible, sweet English. I just installed it, used it, tested it, it all works. You can download it from the link below courtesy of the Japanese PlayStation Store.
