The LittleBigPlanet v1.05 patch for PlayStation 3 is now available. It went live last night and is just 15MB in size. There isn't any word on what is new, but we're sure it brings with it some fixes and minor improvements.
To quote: The Planetoid observatory has just seen that the Little Big Planet 1.05 patch is now live. It went live at around 11pm GMT / UTC and is a teeny tiny 15MB in size.
Like previous patches, there has been no official word on it so right now there is no news on just exactly what this patch contains. We’d put our money on it being some minor stability fixes, much like patches 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 and 1.04 did and they were all around the same size.

BBC staff member Jon (iPlayer Host) has stated on their forums (linked above) that they have fixed issues people were having using the BBC iPlayer on the PlayStation 3 console.
To quote: Kalel2008: As soon as I read on the Web site that you can play videos from the iplayer on the PS3, I was so excited untill I found that it was not true.
dosyman: You can, but it's an unofficial site. www.ps3iplayer.com
Steve9719: There's an even more official way to get the iPlayer working on the PS3. Simply visit the Wii version of the site: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/bigscreen/
Jon (iPlayer Host): We're putting in a fix soon that should make everything better (for the PS3 at least). Update: We've put the fix in and it should now work correctly.
Courtesy of Sierradev comes update v0.2 of the Nintendo Wii Homebrew Disc Channel today. Using the Homebrew Disc Channel, you can load homebrew programs from regular ISO9660 DVDs. It supports (sub)directories.
Note: the name Homebrew Disc Channel is actually wrong; the program was intended as either an add-on to the Wii Disc Channel or a separate channel, but due to the fact that BootMii will need an SD card to load, turning this program into anything other than a regular homebrew program will be useless in a couple of months.
The name will be changed at the next release to Homebrew Disc Loader.
Download: Wii Homebrew Disc Channel v0.2
Usage
- Rename programs to boot.dol and put them in separate (sub)directories on the DVD.
- Burn as ISO9660 DVD.
- Put disc in console and start program.
- Follow on-screen instructions.
