1w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Arne Meyer announced today that The Last of Us Remastered is coming to PS4 in Summer 2014.

Below are the details, as follows: Well, it's no secret that we have been working night and day at the studio to bring The Last of Us to PS4. We're calling it The Last of Us Remastered.

Moving our efforts to the PS4 has allowed us to remaster an already phenomenal looking The Last of Us in 1080p with a list of upgrades including higher resolution character models, improved shadows and lighting, upgraded textures, along with even more improvements.

We love setting challenging technical hurdles for us when working on each game - and this is no different. We've been working hard on The Last of Us Remastered to release a next-gen evolution worthy of the 200+ Game of the Year awards, not to mention the acclaim and expectations of our fans. We will be revealing more detailed information about the upgrades for the PS4 version in the coming months.

In addition to all the technical updates, we're also including an exclusive director's commentary for all in-game cinematics featuring Creative Director and Writer, Neil Druckmann; Voice Actor, Troy Baker, who plays Joel; and BAFTA Award winning Voice Actress, Ashley Johnson, who plays Ellie.

We've...

4w ago - Square Enix Senior Product Manager Sakura Minamida posted up a video today announcing that Final Fantasy X / X-2 HD Remaster is out today on PS3 and PS Vita.

Below are the details, to quote: We're coming to you today to let you know that Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster is available to pick up and take home now on both PS3 and PS Vita, bringing two classic RPGs to the modern age.

Whether Final Fantasy X was one of your favorite games back on the PS2, or you never got a chance to try it, there's never been a better time to play.

The HD Remasters of both games are feature complete with all the International Edition content that never got released here in North America, and now they take advantage of all the neat stuff PlayStation consoles offer.

You've got some major Trophy hunting to do, and the two versions feature cross save compatibility with each other, so if you've got both, you never have to be without your game. The music is completely remastered, there's a bonus audio drama... This is truly the definitive version of both games!

We had a lot of great pre-order bonuses going, and while that window has passed, I can say that there are still very limited quantities of the Collector's...

Video: Master Reboot Out 3/4: Daring to Be Different on PS3

8w ago - Wales Interactive Managing Director David Banner shared a video today announcing that Master Reboot will be out on 3/4 and is daring to be different on PS3!

To quote: Master Reboot for PS3 launches on PlayStation Store March 4th, and everyone at Wales Interactive is really excited about its imminent release.

With Master Reboot, we have dared to be different and created a beautiful, stylistic world that takes inspiration from games like Day of the Tentacle and Tron. We mix mystery and intrigue through its narrative, and convey it through a minimalist visual aesthetic.

It was a big decision to create this bold, yet simple graphical look for the game - the games industry overall is geared to emulating reality in this particular genre, and we knew this would split opinion.

We wanted to create a style that would really stand out and give us, as the developers, an identity. I think we've achieved that - Master Reboot has been described as "a gorgeous indie horror adventure," and "a breath of fresh, creepy air," and "a freakishly cool game where you invade the memories of dead people."

Master Reboot takes around five to eight hours to complete, depending on the player and how much you explore....

Master Reboot Brings Haunting Sci-Fi Horror to PS3 Next Month

11w ago - Assistant Community Manager David Beavers announced that Master Reboot is bringing haunting Sci-Fi Horror to PS3 next month!

To quote: I'm David Banner (not the HULK... don't make me angry!), Managing Director and co-founder of Wales Interactive and I've been making video games professionally since 1995.

Wales Interactive is a BAFTA Cymru award-winning indie developer and publisher which I co-founded back in 2012 with my friend and colleague Richard Pring, Technical Director.

Our team has grown to 14 strong and we are Wales's biggest game developer and publisher. We even have a display dedicated to us at Cardiff Wales Airport! We are passionate about games and our aim is to create original titles that entertain the world as well as put Wales on the video games map.

We started out primarily as an app developer, but have now made the leap to console development and we're very excited about next month's release of our first PS3 title.

Our first PlayStation title, Master Reboot, is a haunting first person sci-fi adventure game. In the not too distant future humankind has created the Soul Cloud, a giant server that holds the data of your soul and memories when you die. The Soul Cloud is filled with floating islands, each island looks like a town; village or...

Mastering Knack's Unlockable Gadgets on PlayStation 4 / PS4

50°
20w ago - Sony Game Director Mark Cerny shared details today on mastering Knack's unlockable gadgets on PlayStation 4 / PS4.

Below are the details, to quote: PS4 released in North America on November 15th, and it was wonderful to see the response! We sold over a million units in the first day, which set a record for any console in the PlayStation family.

Knack released alongside PS4, which was also very nice and a culmination of a lot of hard work! We're excited to have the game out in the wild, so to speak. Now that it's out there, we wanted to take a little time to explain how having friends on PlayStation Network can enhance the game by boosting the number of gadgets you can collect.

There are over sixty secret rooms in Knack, and contained within these rooms are treasure chests - when Knack opens a chest, a random item pops out. Most of these items are parts of gadgets that will help Knack in his quest.

There are eight gadgets in all, and they vary greatly in their difficulty to construct. Simpler gadgets are made of three parts, and the tougher gadgets are made of up to seven parts.

However, you have help! If any of your friends have found this same secret room, you can see the item that they found there. If you'd prefer the item that a friend found - perhaps it's...
