Assassin's Creed II is set to be released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in North America on November 17, 2009 and in PAL regions on November 20, 2009.
The Windows version of the game was originally scheduled to be released at the same time, however Ubisoft later announced that it would be delayed until the first quarter of 2010.

It appears Nintendo has released another Wii System Menu update today to version 4.2.
Like previous updates, this latest revision will both delete and block Wii homebrew... and in some cases destroy consoles, so be aware of this before updating your console.
It's also a mandatory update in order to access the Wii Shop Channel.
