Video: Lost Orbit PS4 is Coming to PlayStation 4 in Early 2015

6w ago - PixelNAUTS Co-founder Chris Iacobucci posted up a PS4 video trailer today announcing that Lost Orbit is coming to PlayStation 4 in early 2015.

Below are the details, to quote: Stranded after his ship is destroyed in deep space by a strange anomaly, Harrison, a lowly maintenance worker and our hero, must struggle to survive.

It's been a challenge defining Lost Orbit from the beginning. At its core, it's a fast-paced action game, but there are flowing moments of serenity. It's not unfair to describe it, as we often have, as a death simulator.

It's the union of three distinct elements: fast paced action, flowing cathartic flight, and death. In truth, the best way to describe it is to make up a new phrase: Lost Orbit is a "dodge 'em up."

On Speed

Our pathetic hero, Harrison, must take matters into his own hands in order to find salvation quickly before he freezes, or starves to death in the depths of space. There is a lot of motivation in Lost Orbit to go fast.

Not the least of which is that it's fun. Lost Orbit presents you with simple to learn mechanics that, once mastered, will enable you to blaze through levels. Upgrading Harrison's kit allows players to customize...

Video: Eastasiasoft Announces Lost Sea is Coming to PS4 in 2015

9w ago - Eastasiasoft Game Designer Aidan Price announced today that Lost Sea is coming to PS4 in 2015 with details below.

To quote: Hi Everyone, this is Aidan from Eastasiasoft. After months hidden away inside our volcano lair, deep inside the jungles of Hong Kong, we are ready to share a first look at our upcoming PS4 game Lost Sea!

Lost Sea is a 3D strategy action game that takes place inside a procedurally generated archipelago. It's up to you to form a ragtag crew of survivors and explore the surrounding islands, hunting for resources to upgrade your ship and make your escape.

Lost Sea is set inside a cartoon B-movie universe, where an otherwise normal individual (You!) is transformed into an intrepid hero after a routine flight over the Atlantic Ocean ends in disaster, leaving you stranded on a mysterious archipelago located deep inside the Bermuda Triangle.

The world of Lost Sea is a dangerous and unforgiving place. Every island is filled with strange landmarks, a wide variety of deadly and exotic creatures, and powerful relics that can be used to your advantage.

Often you'll need to use your wits, as well as your machete, to escape dire situations and any member of your crew unlucky enough...

13w ago - Sony Associate Project Manager Nick Accordino announced today that Invizimals: The Alliance and The Lost Kingdom launch next week.

Below are the details, to quote: Hello again, PlayStation nation! It's my pleasure to bring you an update about the Invizimals franchise, and my, what an update it is!

Across the next two weeks we'll be launching five separate Invizimals titles digitally across the PS3 and PS Vita, and I'm here to tell you exactly what's on the way.

Today we'll see the digital release of 3 titles - Invizimals, Invizimals: Shadow Zone, and for the first time ever in North America, Invizimals: The Lost Tribes. These first three PSP titles introduced the world to the wonderful cast of Invizimals - and now you'll be able to enjoy them digitally wherever and whenever you like.

All three digital PSP releases have been modified in order to take advantage of the AR Play cards included with every Vita system. As long as you have one AR Play card with you, you'll be ready for whatever Invizimal happens to be hiding nearby.

As if that wasn't enough, next Tuesday, September 30th, will see the launch of both Invizimals: The Alliance for PS Vita and [Register or Login to view links]

Soulcalibur: Lost Swords is Out Today on PS3 / PlayStation 3

50°
35w ago - Namco Bandai Community Manager J Kartje announced that Soulcalibur: Lost Swords PS3 is out today on PlayStation 3!

To quote: Hey gang. The endless story of souls and swords marches forward. Starting today, PS3 owners will be able to download our latest Soulcalibur title, Soulcalibur: Lost Swords, for free.

That's right, I said free! Soulcalibur: Lost Swords takes everything you like about the series - the fast and fluid, weapon-based combat, the beautiful graphics, the customization options - and wraps it all up in a free-to-play game worthy of the Soulcalibur legacy.

We'll also be bringing back some fan-favorite characters that missed the fight in Soulcalibur V, including Sophitia and Taki. Be sure to keep a look out for other returning characters as well as time goes on.

There are some changes to the Soulcalibur formula that we are implementing in Lost Swords. The first one you're going to notice is that the game is single-player only and revolves around players making their way through a series of quests to gain items.

These items can be accessories such as clothing options or new weapons to give your character extra flair or increased stats. These upgraded items will be essential as you tackle later quests.

Soulcalibur: Lost Swords isn't...
