Curve Studios Announces Thomas Was Alone Coming Soon to PS4

100°
13w ago - Curve Studios PR and Marketing Manager Rob Clarke announced today that Thomas Was Alone is coming soon to PS4 with details below.

To quote: Here at Curve we've had the pleasure of bringing a variety of games to PlayStation in the last two years, made by a great mix of different indie developers.

Thomas Was Alone was the very first of those games, and its ubiquitous creator Mike Bithell was the first indie developer who we got in touch with. A lifelong PlayStation fan, Mike was genuinely excited by the idea of having the game appear on PS3 and PS Vita, and we had a great time creating that version.

With that in mind, we're now happy to announce that we're bringing Thomas Was Alone to PS4, and it will be available to everyone as a cross buy title. That means if you picked up Thomas on PS3 or PS Vita at any point last year, you'll be able to grab the game completely free on PS4.

If you missed Thomas Was Alone the first time around, the PS4 version will give you a chance to play one of the most popular independent games ever made.

A game about rectangles and friendship, Thomas Was Alone's graphics may be minimalist, but its gameplay is engaging, and the story it tells is quite unlike anything else in gaming. It also has the added bonus of being narrated from start...

Video: Alone With You is Coming Exclusively to PS4, PS Vita in 2015

50°
16w ago - Director Benjamin Rivers of Benjamin Rivers Inc shared a video trailer below today announcing that Alone With You is coming exclusively to PS4 and PS Vita in 2015.

To quote: At GDC this year we announced that indie horror hit Home was coming to PlayStation, and today we get to announce something even more exciting; I am delighted to finally reveal that my new game, Alone With You, is coming out in 2015 as a PlayStation exclusive on PS4 and PS Vita!

Alone With You is a sci-fi game for people who love adventure, exploring and maybe even a little romance. You play as the sole remaining member of a doomed terraforming colony. Your planet will crumble and implode in less than a month, and you must use your remaining time to try to escape.

The catch? There is only one escape pod left, and it isn't functioning. Even worse, the only people who specialized in its systems are all dead as a result of the colony's mysterious failure. But the colony's AI is still with you, and together you plan to get yourselves off the planet–by recreating those key colony members and learning how to fix the ship, so you can both flee to safety.

You'll explore half a dozen unique areas, using your scanner to find things you need,...

19w ago - Community Editor Victor Zuylen announced that the Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept PS4 Standalone Version is officially out today with details below.

To quote: Today marks the release of a self-contained, standalone version of Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept. If you're yearning for some co-op action but don't have a copy of Killzone Shadow Fall, you can now obtain Intercept separately!

Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept places you and up to three of your friends on the elite VSA team known as Intelligence Squad Alpha.

Operating behind enemy lines, your team must relay intercepted military transmissions back to VSA headquarters through a set of captured Uplinks, while defending them from Helghast troops.

To keep the enemy at bay long enough to establish a secure connection, you will have to master your assigned Combat Role - Assault, Marksman, Medic or Tactician - and work together as a team.

Your AI-controlled Helghast opponents have their own sets of goals and Combat Roles, and will switch up their tactics and angles of attack when they recapture an Uplink.

The new standalone version of Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept is fully compatible with the existing expansion pack version,...
