In related news, we recently had a really amazing group of LBP creators join us for an entire week here at SCEA's San Diego Studio where they were able to get their hands dirty experimenting with LBP Karting's Create tools.
I think it's safe to say that a good time was had by all, and the participants gave us invaluable feedback on some tweaks that will end up giving you all really great experience when LBP Karting hits store shelves later this year.
The LBP franchise has always had a strong community element so it was great to have the people we're making the game for in our studio face to face talking through their creative ideas and processes. At the end of the day, this level of interaction...

153w ago - Recently BludgaBoy has shared a LittleBigPlanet 2 PS3 BETA - Windows: LBP Edition Creation video showcasing the work of Boss_Mob, SaggySackBoy, tomatenbrei and daFRED94.
While the game isn't available until later this month, those interested can check it out below.
To quote from Kotaku: "This Windows XP homage, built in the LittleBigPlanet 2 beta, won't run a copy of Excel or PowerPoint, but it does do a reasonably good impersonation of the operating system's desktop, start menu, built-in timewaster games and, naturally, a blue screen of death."
Finally, from the video's caption: "It works... well, *almost* perfectly (just like the real Windows, there are some kinks in the works), and it's an extremely accurate re-creation, right down to the log in noise. You've got pictures, music, videos; even some built in games for you to play! Who needs the NT kernel or C++ when you've got LittleBigPlanet 2?"
154w ago - SCEA Marketing Manager Mark Valledor has shared some fresh videos as part of the final LittleBigPlanet 2 PS3 updates for the year, which include new LBP2 Beta levels.
To quote: As 2010 comes to a close, we're sprinting to the finish line to one of our biggest releases of the year.
With splendid news of Media Molecule going gold, our first review being a 10 out of 10, and the LittleBigPlanet 2 demo being downloaded faster than Sackboy strapped to a F-14 fighter, this is truly the start of "Endless Fun."
LittleBigPlanet 2 has so much to offer that it's tough to contain it in just one trailer. Fortunately with a few crafty people and some help of a few fans...
OMG BETA!!! After seeing these new beta levels, we're speechless...
