First details of the eagerly awaited downloadable content for Grand Theft Auto IV have emerged, with initial reports suggesting the Xbox 360 exclusive pack will shift the focus away from Niko Bellic.
Revealed by USA Today, the downloadable content is titled 'Lost and Damned', and centres around the character of Johnny Klebitz, a member of Liberty City's biker gang The Lost.
Rockstar's Dan Houser said of the add-on '"I can't go into too much detail on the story, because we try not to give away too much plot before the game is released. But I can say that the story will show you a different side of Liberty City."

It appears that RockStar have released the patch early, possibly to reduce strain on the servers.
To quote: So when RockStar says "Monday the 27th of October" it seems they actually mean "the evening of Sunday the 26th."
The GTA IV trophy patch is now live and ready to be downloaded worldwide.
So if you're not too busy exploring Africa, the Ishimura or Rapture, why not have another go around Liberty City?
Keep in mind that you'll have to start a new game as the trophies are not retroactive. But was anyone really expecting them to be?
Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein shared the following via PS Blog:
You’ve probably already heard the news: this coming Monday, October 27th, there will be an update made available on the PlayStation Network to unlock the entire Trophy system for Grand Theft Auto IV on PLAYSTATION 3.
Rockstar Games asked that I share a bit more info with you.
Make sure to download and install the update before playing in order to start attaining Trophies. There will be 51 total trophies, broken down by four different levels: bronze, silver, gold and platinum - all contributing to your overall experience level on your PlayStation Network profile.
Among the 51 trophies to be released Monday, look for:
One Man Army - only those that are wily enough to survive a 6-star wanted level for a full 5 minutes will be rewarded with this one.
Dare Devil - an award for those who find and execute all of the Unique ... More »
Some new details about GTA: Chinatown Wars are available as follows:
EDGE Magazine interviewed Rockstar Games VP, Dan Houser on what to expect for this winter’s forthcoming GTA debut on Nintendo DS, Chinatown Wars. The interview revealed a few new snippets of information about the game.
• Pedestrians will act the same as they do in GTA IV. You can find them talking with each other, buying snacks and items at newsstands, and will even take out an umbrella when it’s raining.
• Characters on foot will look exaggerated “for the very simple reason of being able to inject them with character when viewed from above”. Looking at some of the previously released screenshots, you’ll notice characters on foot are not in proportion (larger) to the environment around them (cars, etc).
• The game will feature an assisted driving system to help make driving a little forgiving.
• Wanted levels can be reduced by... More »
Yes folks, it's October, which means that the crazy end-of-year games rush has begun. A boggling number of games are due out over the next few months, so let us guide you towards the titles we really think you should be keeping an eye on.
Remember though, most of these recommendations are based on previews, so wait until the final review verdict before picking any of them up.
1. Animal Crossing: City Folk - Wii, 16th Nov US, December EU
It might not be the great hardcore hope Reggie claims it to be, but the Wii version of Animal Crossing certainly promises to be the definitive entry in the series. It's got proper online play, mic and keyboard communications, Mii support, a new city area full of customisable gear to pick up and connectivity between Wii and DS. In other words, it's got everything Animal Crossing always needed. AC is one of those games you either love or just don't get at all, but if you're the former, this will be a must.
