Lego The Hobbit PS3 Bundle Heads to North America This Spring

21w ago - Sony Software Product Marketing Manager Scott McCarthy confirmed today that a Lego The Hobbit PS3 Bundle is heading to North America this Spring.

That's why at PlayStation, we're excited to announce that a new LEGO The Hobbit PlayStation 3 bundle is heading to Middle-earth - er, sorry - heading to North America. The bundle comes with a 500GB PS3 system and LEGO The Hobbit, the latest LEGO game inspired by the first two Hobbit films. The bundle hits store shelves this Spring for $269 (MSRP).

The PS3 bundle is perfect for gamers of all ages. You can join Bilbo, Gandalf, and Thorin Oakenshield's Company of Dwarves as they journey across Middle-earth on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Kingdom of Erebor from the Dragon Smaug.

Visit some of the film trilogy's most iconic locations, including The Shire, Rivendell, and the Misty Mountains, where Bilbo first meets Gollum and discovers The One Ring.

Video: Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes Hits PS Vita and PS3 Today

109w ago - Sony Senior Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has announced alongside a video trailer that Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes assembles on both PS Vita and the PS3 console today.

To quote: After seeing Lego Batman 2: DC Superheroes at GDC this year, then playing the PS Vita version at E3, I've found myself anticipating its imminent release (it's out today).

With a huge Gotham City hub world and a cast that reaches far beyond the Caped Crusader, Lego Batman 2 appears to be the most ambitious entry in the venerable Lego series.

Magic PKG v0.2 Beta Arrives from Alegoria, Create PS3 PKG Files

174w ago - Over the weekend Spanish developer Alegoria from DemonHades (linked above) released Magic PKG v0.2 Beta, a PlayStation 3 homebrew application that allows users to create PS3 PKG files.

To quote, roughly translated: We inform this new application is being developed by Alegoria to easily create PKGs.

The idea is to convert the physical format games DG HG property to run directly from the HDD without having to undergo any manager games (Multimedia).

I discussed this in beta but from DHorg want to give our support to continue developing and improving this tool that looks great
