To quote: CodeWizard PS3 is a makeshift PowerPC Assembly assembler, disassembler, and emulator (emulates the supported instructions).
It allows you to write the assembly and assemble it into NetCheat format, byte array (C#), and a hex string array. It allows for multiple tabs, coloring, labels, custom psuedo instructions, and an auto complete menu.
Instructions must be lowercase (addi, not ADDI).
Psuedo instructions must be laid out like so:
Name: sub (what is called)
Format: %rD, %rA, %rB (variables in order, can be registers or immediate or labels)
Code: subf %rD, %rB, %rA
Usage: sub r3, r3, r4
19h ago - Sony Product Manager Ken Chan shared video footage today of talk show host Jay Leno taking Gran Turismo 6 on PS3 for a test drive.
To quote: Collector and auto expert Jay Leno took two cars from Gran Turismo 6 for test drives in the latest film episode of JayLenosGarage.com: his own 1000 horsepower Oldsmobile Toronado, and also the Mercedes-Benz AMG Vision Gran Turismo concept car designed especially for the game.
In addition to being one of the first to drive the Vision Gran Turismo in the game, Leno is the first person outside Mercedes-Benz to pilot the Vision GT concept car - which was revealed at the recent LA Auto Show - in real life, using a radio controller through his LA garage.
Mercedes-Benz brought the AMG Vision Gran Turismo to Jay's garage directly from the LA Show. The Vision is the first of a series of concept cars from various manufacturers made for Gran Turismo 6. But, so far, the only one to be turned into a real car. Leno said he thinks games are taking over in determining what cars achieve cult status.
"Video games are where cars will achieve cult status going forward and, like the Mercedes-Benz, where we will see cars make their debuts...
19h ago - Spry Fox Chief Creative Officer Daniel Cook made available some video footage today of the unique puzzles of Road Not Taken on PlayStation 4 below.
To quote: How might a roguelike look like if it featured a thinker and explorer, instead of a traditional warrior? If being clever was more important than being strong? That's a design challenge we've attempted to tackle with Road Not Taken.
You play a ranger in a frigid, enchanted forest, trying to save lost children. You start with a few easy-to-learn abilities. You can pick up any adjacent objects, you can carry them around, and you can throw them.
Trees, boulders, bears - they all float at your command. But you need to be careful; whenever you carry things, it costs you stamina. If you run out of stamina, you collapse face-first into the snow. No checkpoints, no reloads. It's over.
The Environment is the Threat
In Road Not Taken, both the challenge and the exciting moments come from the setting itself. You'll be intrigued by strange objects that you haven't encountered before, and whose characteristics are never fully explained. There are wild creatures running about, spiky plants that hurt you if you pick them up, and blizzards...

4d ago - Crystal Dynamics Executive Producer Scot Amos announced today that the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition hits PS4 on January 28th, 2014.
Below are the details, to quote: Hi everyone, I'm Scot Amos, executive producer at Crystal Dynamics. On January 28th of 2014, we're bringing the award-winning Tomb Raider experience to PS4 in the form of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition.
Recreating our franchise for PS4 was a true labor of love for the team. The critically acclaimed story and action adventure remain solidly intact and as riveting as ever. However, we took the opportunity to use the increased horsepower of the hardware to create the Tomb Raider we always envisioned.
We had a core team here at Crystal collaborating with the super talented teams at United Front Games (who worked with Square Enix on Sleeping Dogs) and Nixxes (whom Crystal has partnered with since the Legacy of Kain days). Together, we pulled the game apart and painstakingly rebuilt it with enhanced visual fidelity, realism, and a new immersive richness to the world.
Getting our gameplay up to native 1080p meant increasing all of our texture resolutions by over 4x so the details and nuances can be seen in their full glory.
However, it's subtleties like our subsurface scattering technology - how we...
