Sony's worst-kept secret this year appears to be the PS3 Slim, as retailer KMart is now listing the PlayStation 3 Slim for $299 with a launch date of August 24, 2009.

It's also currently displayed on KMart's main page HERE with the slogan "The rumors are reality." and includes a 120GB HDD, with the description as follows:

This is apparently attack of the alleged PS3 Slim ads day... two retailers from two different sources claim they snagged pics of the upcoming ads.

Gizmodo (linked above) reports that they received photos of a 120GB PS3 Slim listed for $299.99 in a K-Mart flyer.

A purported Kmart ad began tearing through the Internet last week, showing a "new low price" of $299 for the 20GB Xbox 360 Pro model, and a July 6 shelf date. Such a price tag suggests a $50 price drop for the Xbox 360 model even before the E3 Media and Business Summit, taking place a week later.
