Video: New Evolve Interactive PlayStation 4 Trailer is Revealed

50°
21w ago - 2K Executive Producer Denby Grace posted up a video today revealing the new evolve interactive PlayStation 4 trailer below.

To quote: We're very excited to share a complete match of Evolve with the world for the first time.

We've done something pretty cool with this trailer by allowing viewers to switch between the feed of any of our four hunters or the monster.

We've also included a sixth channel to watch along with some great commentary from Aaron "Ayesee" Chambers and Chris Ashton, the co-founder and design director at Turtle Rock Studios.

The concept of four hunters taking on one giant, evolving monster really sets Evolve apart from other games. This trailer does a great job of demonstrating just how unique each role is, and we're excited for gamers to start getting an idea of which side of the 4v1 battle they want to be on, keeping in mind that there's going to be even more hunters and monsters to choose from when Evolve ships this fall.

In this trailer, you get a look at the first four hunters in Evolve: Val the Medic, Griffin the Trapper, Markov the Assault, and Hank the Support. Each hunter plays a unique role in the fight, and each of them has unique weapons and...

Jaywalkers Interactive: Kick & Fennick Launches on PS Vita in 2014

50°
57w ago - Jaywalkers Interactive Co-Founders Vincent Bonefaas and Laurens Bruins announced today that Kick & Fennick launches on PS Vita in 2014.

To quote: We didn't count, but we must have saved the world thousands of times. Like many of us, we spent most of our childhood being superheroes dressed in cardboard armor with a towel around our neck, having the most amazing and epic adventures.

Thankfully, now that we're adults *cough*, video games still allow us to immerse ourselves in imaginary worlds, without looking like fools throwing pinecone grenades at each other. But this image of us as kids, running around the woods with a big stick, is thoroughly stuck in our minds.

This is where the idea for Kick & Fennick originated, remembering the fun we had saving the world, and our friends, with our massive stick weapons.

There are no complications as a kid, but if a real ten-year old boy would fire one of our imaginary super guns, he would surely launch himself through the air just from the weapon's recoil... which would be pretty damn cool!

We love big, cinematic game experiences. We're just a two-man team, but we couldn't have Kick just jumping around a bit using his weapon.

No, he needs to jump across huge skyscrapers, breaking through walls...

Sports Interactive: Football Manager Classic Lines up PS Vita Debut

100°
57w ago - Sports Interactive Studio Director Miles Jacobson announced today at Gamescom 2013 that Football Manager Classic Lines up their PS Vita debut.

To quote: Hello everyone in PlayStation land! My name is Miles and I'm the Studio Director at Sports Interactive.

We're a development team based in London which has been making games for over 20 years, specializing in football management games.

You may well have played our Football Manager Handheld games in the past on your PSP, or even Football Manager on the PC or Mac if you have one of those home computer things.

As you may have seen during the gamescom PlayStation press conference, we've confirmed tonight that Football Manager is coming to PS Vita! Or, to be exact, Football Manager Classic is coming to PS Vita.

So what is Football Manager Classic?

Well, it's a mode that was added into last year's PC and Mac version of Football Manager as a quicker way to play the full Football Manager experience.

It has all you'd expect from FM - our huge database of players researched by a team of over 1,500 scouts around the world, a 3D match engine showing the action, a full tactics module, realistic transfers, AI that makes both players and managers act as you'd expect them to in the...

Video: How to Shmup: Mamorukun Curse from the Makers of Ikaruga

50°
65w ago - UFO Interactive Games Producer Andrew Wang posted up a video today on how to Shmup: Mamorukun Curse from the makers of Ikaruga below.

To quote: Mamorukun Curse! was originally developed by [Register or Login to view links], the co-developers with [Register or Login to view links] on games such as [Register or Login to view links] and [Register or Login to view links].

The rush I got when I first started to understand the ammo-absorbing mechanic in Ikaruga was nothing short of exhilarating, as I'm sure many of you experienced the same!

A great shmup (shoot-em-up) will usually have one or two defining mechanics that makes it stand up way above the rest. For Mamorukun Curse!, that mechanic is the Curse Bullet.

The Curse Bullet is the key to surviving the game's toughest fights, but can also be the double-edged sword that causes the player's downfall. Specifically, the "Curse Bullet" will make a Cursed zone that weakens enemies' defenses but at the same time boosting their shooting pattern.

When defeated, a Cursed enemy gives off the highest amount of candy, Mamorukun Curse!'s collectible items for score, than when defeated normally.

Remember Me: New Art, Interactive Journal and Director PS3 Q&A

50°
70w ago - Dontnod Entertainment Creative Director JMax shared some fresh art, an interactive journal and a PS3 Q&A for Remember Me with fans today.

To quote: Hi everyone, this is Jmax, Creative Director at the developer [Register or Login to view links]. We are the guys behind Capcom's newest (and most exciting!) title, [Register or Login to view links].

The game will be coming out on the 7th June in Europe and in the run down to the launch I would like to bring you some news about the game, let you know what is going on and hopefully answer your questions.

Remember Me takes place in Neo-Paris in 2084. In this future, thanks to an implant known as Sensen, you can record everything you see, hear and feel, giving birth to a memory trading economy where you can share or even sell those memories.

As cool as all this sounds there is a potentially more sinister side to this world as one company, Memorize, controls all the memory data (imagine having a smart phone and social media directly tapped into your brain!) and this begs the question who is watching the watchmen?

Not everyone in Neo-Paris agrees with one company having so much power and set out to bring Memorize down, this group call themselves the Erorrists. In the...
