There are over 100 inviZimals to search for to build out your collection. Once you start collecting them, you can battle other opponents online or make trades with your friends to get those really hard-to-find creatures!

New to the series is a cooperative capture mode that allows two players to hunt down monsters together. You can also enter tournaments to unlock the ability to mutate and customize your inviZimals as well.

For those looking for a bit of story to go with their monster-hunting, you can travel the world and embark on a new adventure in campaign mode.

169w ago - SCEA Producer Emerson Escobar has announced today that inviZimals: Shadow Zone is coming to PSP this Fall.

To quote: Emerson here with some great news for all you inviZimals fans out there. inviZimals: Shadow Zone is coming to North America!

The story picks up several months after the events of the first inviZimals game and features new, deeper and more involved captures with over 100 new inviZimals to hunt and battle with. You can also team up with a friend for co-op captures using AdHoc or Infrastructure connectivity.

You can even modify and share your inviZimals by changing their names, colors and choose from a greater range of attack moves. The game will also feature a full blown rank and prestige system as well as you being able to travel to new exotic locations as you investigate how inviZimals shaped ancient mythology.

So get ready to team up with Keni, Jazmin and Dawson on another whirlwind adventure across the globe to solve the great mysteries of inviZimals: Shadow Zone.

197w ago - Today Sony's European Product Manager Phil Lynch has posted up a video of Giant Invizimals in Combat on the PlayStation Portable handheld console.

For those curious, Invizimals Shadow Zone is out this week for PSP 3000.

To quote: Phil here again with another Invizimals video. Following the large traps experiment we posted on the 18th October, we had lots of requests to see a battle using the large trap.

The guys at Novarama in Spain have obliged with the video below. The guys in the background are Novarama's Dani Sanchez-Crespo, Lead Designer on Invizimals, and Juan Luis Abadia, the Lead Programmer.

198w ago - SCEE European Product Manager Phil Lynch has shared some more behind the scenes footage today of Invizimals for PSP.

To quote: Earlier in the week we had a video of Brian Blessed and Sebastian Campbell taking a break from filming the story sequences for Invizimals: Shadow Zone to talk about their roles.

Today we have the second video in this short series, featuring Matt McCooey, who plays Kenichi Nakamura in the game, and Suanne Braun, who plays Professor Michaels.

Invizimals: Shadow Zone will be released on PSP across Europe from 10 November.

To quote: A couple of weeks ago we saw what happens when you use a giant trap with Invizimals, the critter-catching augmented reality game on PSP.
