193w ago - According to JoyStiq, Best Buy's bonus for pre-ordering Brütal Legend by October 13th includes a Brütal Legend LP sleeve (pictured below).

Aside from displaying artwork, the sleeve serves as a holder for the game disc itself.

In related news, EA's Tim Schaffer has announced that a Brutal Legend demo will be hitting PlayStation Network (and Xbox Live Marketplace) this week- specifically on Septmeber 17, 2009.

Finally, Electronic Arts has released an opening cinematic intro video today. The opening cinematic sets up the story for the game and gives us some insight into story protagonist, Eddie Riggs (voiced by Jack Black). Check it out below!

Brutal Legend is due out in North America on October 13th for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

223w ago - Over the weekend the Simpsons first HDTV introduction aired and featured the Nintendo DS.

In the new introduction, two of Lisa's classmates are playing on their Nintendo DS consoles while the Simpson family seems to have a new LCD TV. Elsewhere, Bart is now praising HDTV on the school blackboard... check it out below for those who missed it.

233w ago - Tecmo announced today that its PlayStation 2 port of 'Rygar: The Battle of Argus' will not ship today and has been delayed until February 3, 2009.

To quote: If you've been waiting six years to play Rygar: The Battle for Argus, what's another couple months, right? Today Tecmo announced it is delaying the PlayStation 2 port until February 3, 2009. The game was supposed to ship today.

The Battle for Argus is a Wiimake of Rygar: The Legendary Adventure - which was itself a reboot of the Rygar franchise that had lain dormant since its 1980s roots in arcades and the NES.
