RPSDIR Automatic PS3 Files Resigner Homebrew App by Roor Arrives

50°
2d ago - Today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer Roor made available RPSDIR, which is an automatic PS3 files resigner homebrew application with details below.

Download: [Register or Login to view links]

To quote: I just took an hour from lunch, and made a tool that might help. It's named it RPSDIR (Resigner for PS Directories).

I used a bunch of older tools a coded for personal use (including NSCETOOL, which is a custom SCETOOL based on AES 256 CRT code and other stuff; it follows the same rules as the original SCETOOL). It was compiled with Visual Studio 2012, and other stuff.

It just allows you to select a directory, and it searches for all EBOOT.BIN, *.SELF and *.SPRX files, and resigs them with 3.41 keys.

Old (original) files are renamed as *.bak (ie: EBOOT.BIN becomes EBOOT.BIN.BAK). And "decrypted files" are renamed as "*.elf" (ie: EBOOT.BIN becomes EBOOT.BIN.ELF). Original files are automatically replaced by the resigned-ones. If you do not want to keep the old ones (in case you use IRD, just delete them).

Please inform me if any bug arises (this was a quick job done during this last hour). Probably, I'll fix them (if notified) for next week end.

Please, write with feedback.

1w ago - Following up on the last PKG Resigner application, today I present my (Leerz aka Leerz D.) PS3 CFW PKG Resigner Tools LRZ 20140823 / 20130929 with details below.

Download: [Register or Login to view links] / PKG.resigner.lrz.zip (Mirror)

CFW PKG Resigner Tools LRZ 20140823/20130929

This tool aim to fix modified PKG's/eboot that were made to work only on specific CFW version. (3.55 only) etc etc. i.e/ brew, or PSN pkgs/installers

This will resign the pkg, to work on any cfw version.. the procedure is very straightforward and does 99% of the manual stuff. I've ripped code and stuff from various tools that can also achieve this process.

To use, extract all the files on folder. Drag your PKG file to the "PKG.resigner.lrz.20140824.bat" and wait for it finish, it will create a "yourfile.resigned.pkg" after the procedure.

Majority of the code have been taken from CFW Eboot & PKG Resigner...

700°
3w ago - Following up on the previous updates, PlayStation 3 developer B1ackDaemon shared an RPCS3 (PS3 Emulator) WIP video via YouTube which shows footage of commercial PS3 game Voodoo Chronicles: The First Sign running with details below.

To quote: "YouTube’s ‘B1ackDaemon’ has released a new video from RPCS3 – the most promising PS3 emulator that is currently under development – that shows in-game footage from Voodoo Chronicles: The First Sign.

And while there is no doubt that there is still a lot of work to be done, it’s really cool witnessing the baby steps of this emulator."

Finally, from the video's caption: Notes: tested on latest rpcs3 commit b98b3241e7 ([Register or Login to view links]). Have some graphics issues, like missing texts in dialogs. To run game on Rpcs3 you need to replace key.edat file with decrypted one.

PC configuration: Core i5-760 2.8@3.5GHz, 6Gb DDR3-1333, GeForce GTX 470, Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 x64.
