51w ago - MonkeyPaw Games Marketing Manager Ray Almeda has announced today alongside a gameplay trailer below that Class of Heroes II is set to release this Fall for PSP on PlayStation Network.
To quote: MonkeyPaw Games strives to bring you excellent content from Japan.
Today we're announcing the anticipated digital download release of Class of Heroes II on the PlayStation Network.
The digital release, playable on PSP and PS Vita, will give users a chance to play the game with a beautifully localized adaptation, care of our partners at GAIJINWORKS. The game is set to debut this fall.
The game is a charming take on the Wizardry-style dungeon crawl games with a twist - all the party members are drawn from a pool of newly-enrolled students at a Sword and Sorcery School.
It features 10 classes to choose from: Novice, Fighter, Swordsman, Ranger, Monk, Ninja, Sorcerer, Puppeteer, Idol, and one Mystery Class. Once the party is created, quests are offered and the party can choose their adventure path, unlocking ever more distant and dangerous areas to conquer as they grow in power and confidence.
Monster parties can be more than one level deep in a single...
83w ago - Laughing Jackal Community Manager Ross Brierley has announced today alongside a video trailer that Legend Of Heroes: Trails In The Sky will be hitting PSP on November 4, 2011.
To quote: Today I'm going to talk to you a little about Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky which will be released on PSP in Europe on the 4th November 2011 as a Collector's Edition for £39.99.
Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is the first game in a trilogy of Legend of Heroes games. The story follows the adventures of Estelle Bright, the daughter of Cassius Bright, and his adopted son Joshua, both of whom are junior members of the Bracers Guild, a mercenary group sworn to protect the people of the world.
When their father Cassius, a war hero, leaves on a mission, Estelle and Joshua must take over his work in their hometown. The game's fantastic dialogue makes this a charming prologue and this charm never disappears as the scope of the story gradually expands from simple beginnings into a tense climax, as the young Bracers must uncover a conspiracy to overthrow the government of Liberl.
Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is set in a fantasy world where the combustion engine...
85w ago - Today HandCircus Founder Simon Oliver has introduced the heroes in the upcoming PSN exclusive game Okabu as part of the video trailer below.
To quote: Its been a couple of months since we were last here talking about OKABU, our upcoming PSN-exclusive action-adventure, and we're thrilled to be part of this month's "Only On PSN" program, sitting alongside such awesome titles as Pixeljunk Sidescroller, Eufloria and Rochard.
So the big news is that we finally have a release date! OKABU will be hitting PSN on October 18th, and there'll be a demo available on launch day that'll let you take our cloud-flying heroes for a test flight. With launch only a couple of weeks away, we wanted to share a few more details about the game, and what you'll be doing as you guide Kumulo and Nimbe through the four worlds that make up the story campaign.
Since we started development one of our biggest goals has been to pack a ton of gameplay variety in the game, from physics-play and drivable vehicles to the ability to control the creatures that fill the world. These powers come from the cloud-flying heroes in the game, which you can pick up and drop off to swap abilities on the fly.
With our previous trailers we've been keen to show off everything that you can do in the game, but I realize that...
87w ago - SCEE's Dan Vader has posted up a video trailer announcing that Might And Magic: Clash of Heroes PS3 DLC launches on PSN today.
To quote: The new 'I Am the Boss' update for Might and Magic Clash of Heroes gives players the chance to square off against all 4 evil bosses from the single player campaigns in Quick Battle or Online Multiplayer modes.
This is your chance to get another taste of vengeance as you take to the battlefield against Azexes, Count Carlyle, Lordess Ludmilla, and overlord Azh Rafir. But these villains aren't going to lie down and let your attacks march all over them.
Each boss has been balanced for Multiplayer action and equipped with their own brand new and uniquely devastating Hero Spells. Watch out for Azexes' Demon Portal spell, which summons attacks from the depths of Sheogh; your skin will crawl when Lordess Ludmilla calls upon her Spider Swarm to overwhelm you; try to hold onto your lunch when Count Carlyle belches up his Bile Blast straight at you; and you better build some strong walls to defend against Azh Rafir's deadly Palm Blast spell.
It may not be technically legal to unleash hellhounds on your boss at the office, or fire off a Pixie Blast at that manager whose...
110w ago - Ubisoft PR Coordinator Alex Monney has revealed that Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes hits PSN today and posted up a new video trailer as well.
To quote: As Mr. Nathan Vella mentioned last week, Ubisoft and Cabybara Games are set to cast Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes out into the wild later today.
Announced last year, Clash of Heroes is an HD remake of the classic DS title released in 2009. If you've seen what Capybara Games has done with their previous HD-ifying ventures, you'll know that the remake for Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes will blow your mind.
As someone who never got his hands on the DS game, I was very impressed with my hands-on time with the game (or impressed enough to accidentally skip a meal on Sunday because I was too busy playing :P).
Even better is the story that unfolds throughout the game. Now, I don't want to spoil things for anyone, but Clash of Heroes follows five heroes as they embark on a journey to retrieve a lost artifact. Through their adventures, you will visit five unique territories that will pose a variety of enemies and challenges....
