10w ago - Codemasters developer Ben Walke announced today alongside a PS3 video trailer that GRID Autosport is coming to PlayStation 3 next week.

To quote: Great news, racing fans - next week, GRID Autosport arrives and brings with it an authentic racing experience with five distinct disciplines, 80+ cars, and 22 locations straight onto PS3.

But before the racing begins, we wanted to share our launch trailer with you, which you'll find conveniently located below:

Have you heard about the new RaceNet Clubs feature? No? Well, let's dive in!

RaceNet Clubs will allow you to form your own online groups where you can compare progress, and battle for overall supremacy with other clubs.

Each club will have the opportunity to design their own livery and racing in a car with a club livery applied to it will grant the club experience based on the driver's performance. It will certainly be a formidable sight when you join an online race and find yourself up against a group of drivers all racing in the same club colors.

There are various sections within the Club HQ where you can view club details or check on its performance. The roster, for example, is the perfect place to gain quick access to...

Grid: Autosport PS3 Coming to PlayStation 3 on June 24th, 2014

19w ago - Codemasters developer Ben Walke announced today that Grid: Autosport PS3 is coming to PlayStation 3 on June 24th, 2014.

To quote: Hey, PlayStation fans! It's great to be back on the blog, and today I'm incredibly excited to bring you news of our latest game - Grid: Autosport on PS3.

Grid 2 raced off into a more narrative-led world with accessible controls, and it's clear that for many of you that wasn't what you wanted or expected from it. So with Grid: Autosport we had the opportunity to make a much more focused motorsport game, a desire that many of you have expressed directly to us, and a game that in spirit goes back to some of our earlier titles in terms of content and handling.

The Handling

As ever, our handling model has had a lot of effort put into it, and you'll really notice the difference, we think, from Grid 2. For Grid: Autosport, we've gone back to a more authentic handling style. It's definitely not a full simulation - we want it to be authentic, not clinical - but it's more towards that end of the spectrum than before.

If anything, we believe the handling is actually one or two steps further towards simulation than Race Driver: Grid, to give you an idea.

The Racing Disciplines

You'll be...

There's a lot of asphalt waiting for you on the disc - the streets of Dubai and Paris, sweeping open roads on the California Coast, tight and twisty ribbons on mountains in Japan, and apexes to nail on circuits like Brands Hatch, Red Bull Ring and the Algarve International Circuit.
