Today Ubisoft announced it will be releasing exciting new downloadable content (DLC) for Far Cry 2 by the end of November.
The Fortune's Pack DLC will bring new vehicles and new weapons to both the single-player game and the multiplayer game, giving gamers even more diverse means of destruction.

The New Xbox Experience, a.k.a. the new Xbox 360 Dashboard, hits today. If you've got an Xbox 360 that's connected to the Internet, you're going to be prompted to update your console as soon as you turn it on.
No exceptions; this is what your machine will look like until either it dies, you die, or Microsoft decides to make ANOTHER Xbox Experience.
Unfortunately, unlike Batman, you didn't have time to prepare. Here are the ten things you should know about the new Xbox experience so you can be set for today.
1) Installation is quick. Owners with hard drives that aren't 100% full will be able to update with no problem, but Xbox 360 Arcade fans that rely on memory cards can get in on the free 512MB card deal from Microsoft. We'd recommend you go for the 20GB hard drive for $20 if anything.

At the same BMO Capital Markets' conference last week in New York where he gave an update on upcoming GTAIV DLC and Chinatown Wars, Take Two CEO Strauss Zelnick offered a glimpse further down the road. In his "Negative Approach" blog for cnet, Dave Rosenberg related these remarks from Zelnick:

Along with the much anticipated Dashboard update, Microsoft has announced a new "Download & Win" contest where gamers have a chance to win free Microsoft Points.
The company is putting 1,000,000 Microsoft Points up for grabs for people who download content from Xbox Live between 6:01 AM PST on November 19th, and 11:59 PM PST on November 23rd.
The downloads must be from the following categories:

- TV Show
- Full Arcade Game
- Xbox Originals Game
- Game Add-On
- Music Video
- The Prizes include:
- One Grand Prize of 500,000 MS Points

BingeGamer.net (linked above) has compiled a chart from various Web site and Forum users detailing how much time you can save by using a hard drive install under the New Xbox Experience. Its not complete at the moment, but does offer results for a number of XBox 360 games.
To quote: All I did here was put their collected information chart form. I will update as much as possible, drop a comment if you know how much time is saved on a particular game (where the “xxx”’s are marked).
I don’t think the chart needs to be explained, you have the games, you have how much space they would take on your hard drive, and then how much time you’d be saving (not listed on the chart is how much relief you will be giving your poor disc drive).
No longer do 360 fanboys have the fodder of “oh you PS3 people have to install games blah blah” .. in the end, if you have a big enough hard drive, you know you’ll be installing these games soon enough. :p
