5w ago - XGen Studios CEO and Founder Skye Boyes shared a video today on Super Motherload on PS4 which explores both the story and game modes below.
To quote: With just one week until Super Motherload launches alongside PS4, I'm eager to share with you PlayStation.Blog readers a bit about what makes Super Motherload tick, as well as show off a brand new video to set the scene.
Super Motherload is an arcade style digging adventure for one to four players, set on Mars in the retro future (And if that's not a mouthful enough, you're welcome to add "Soviet space race," "B movie sci-fi," and "mining puzzler" to the mix!).
Inspired by our original game, Motherload, we wanted to bring Mars mining to consoles and breathe some life back into the four-player, couch co-op style of gameplay that we love and miss so much. Online play can't hold a candle to a good, "reassuring" elbow to the ribs when your buddy goes in the wrong direction with no fuel to spare.
Super Motherload's visual charm is no doubt rooted in some of our favorite movies and tv shows of past decades, including Battlestar Galactica (the original), Buck Rogers, and Moon, to name a few. Those favorites, along with an '80s inspired soundtrack, all lend to...
122w ago - Today Sega Digital Campaigns Manager Mike Kebby has made available a new Renegade Ops PS3 game modes trailer video alongside details on the team, as follows:
I'm here today to give you the low-down on the game, introduce the team that you'll becoming familiar with, and basically let you know just how damn awesome the whole thing is!
Before I get into the narrative meat, I'll run you through the core of the game; it's a top-down twin-stick shooter, which sees you take control of one of four character specific vehicles.
Each vehicle comes with its own set of attributes and specific play-style, all of which hinges around the special ability of each character. This is all focused around one thrilling campaign that can be tackled in single-player, two-player split-screen, and four player co-operative/competitive (co-opertition as we like to call it) modes.
You'll be working on levelling up your character of choice, unlocking various upgrades, and ultimately hitting the highest rank and ensure your place at the top of the online leader boards.
With the world cowering to the tyrannical madman that is Inferno, and with his impending global dominance on the horizon, it's through a self-imposed purpose to rid the globe of this menace that we join the Renegades....

298w ago - The version 1.3 patch for PlayStation Network title Warhawk, which is set to bring a number of custom aircraft paint schemes and HOME integration to the table, isn't out just yet – but that isn't stopping Dylan Jobe and crew from dropping details on the next major update for Warhawk.
To quote from the blog comment linked above: So while I can't say too much, I can say that the team is hard at work on developing some new game modes.
We have a lot of new designs at various phases of development so I can't say which ones will make the cut for the v 1.4 patch just yet... but rest assured that the next patch *will* have new modes, and of course, they will be free.
Don't forget that the version 1.3 update is scheduled to hit later next week. :P
