22w ago - Insomniac Games Community Lead James Stevenson announced today news of a Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault PS3 (and PS Vita) patch alongside a free map incoming!

Below are the details, to quote: We've been having a blast playing against you online in the last few weeks, and we hope you've been enjoying the game as much as we've enjoyed making it and playing online ourselves.

As you know, Full Frontal Assault is a cross-buy enabled title, so your purchase of the PS3 game entitles you to download the PS Vita version at no additional cost upon its release. Tin Giant and Sony have been hard at work to finish the Vita version, which will be available soon in early 2013.

If you bought the PS3 game digitally, you'll be able to download it via your Download List on the XMB when it releases. For those purchasers of the retail disc, you can download the Vita version via the "Disc Benefits" option under Game on the XMB.

One thing every great multiplayer game has is new content and support. The team in North Carolina has been working hard and listening to your feedback the last few weeks.

To quote: Some of you may have seen my last blog post about the release of War of the Monsters as a PS Classic for PlayStation 3 and at the end of that post I mentioned the release of our next update for Starhawk was right around the corner!

Well...we are now around that corner and I can tell you that we are "GO" for our global release of the Starhawk 1.03 Update today at 2pm Central Time! I am saying "GO" as if I were a super-cool NASA scientist in the Curiosity control room!

While the release of our 1.03 Update pales in comparison to the massive achievement of landing an SUV-sized robot on Mars (thanks NASA!). The 1.03 release will nonetheless make many Earthlings very happy!

187w ago - Titan Studios Creative Director Craig Leigh has announced news today of a Fat Princess PS3 Demo, Patch 1.03 and a free New Pork Map.

To quote: Today is a great day indeed. Your faithful developers at Titan Studios and team at Sony Santa Monica Studio are extremely happy to announce that after careful thought and great labor, Patch 1.03 is complete and ready for imminent release.

Patch 1.03 contains the awesome New Pork city level, and due to the amazing support we have received from the community, we have decided to release the map for free! Yes you heard us right, for free!

Just as important, we have implemented many fixes and tweaks to make the game better than ever. The Fat Princess demo will also go live with the release of 1.03, so everyone who has been dying to try out the game can finally check it out. 225w ago - Mirror's Edge Producer Tom Farrer reminds us today that the release of the free and exclusive PlayStation 3 Time Trial map hits PSN tomorrow, and shares some of his thoughts on it as follows:

When we started Mirror's Edge we were working with abstract environments, quick test levels that we threw together so we could mess around with the moves.

Then came the game and the more realistic urban settings which were a lot of fun to work with but there was always a little voice in the back of our minds saying, "Remember when you could build any bizarre shape you wanted?"

We have been making a variety of maps for the upcoming release of the Pure Time Trial Map Pack. We didn't want to be limited by an urban setting; we wanted to "leave the city behind" and focus completely on the nature of movement itself.





The maps are all about exploring the purity of the core gameplay with nothing getting in the way.

Each map is quite different in style and had different inspirations. The look of the Sony-exclusive map "Synethesia" (that will be released separately and for free tomorrow, January 29th) was actually inspired by balloons of all things.
