PS4 Pro Tip: Use Docs for PlayStation on PlayStation 4, Details

50°
5w ago - Today JM Garcia shared a PS4 pro tip to use Docs for PlayStation on PlayStation 4 with details below, as follows:

Happy holidays, everyone! I know a lot of you may be new PS4 owners, so I wanted to welcome you to the PlayStation Nation and offer up a little not-so-secret pro tip to help you out while you're gaming: Docs for PlayStation.

If you're like me, you don't like having to search through a paper instruction manual or scour the internet to find game info and the controller guide for your new game.

With Docs for PlayStation, you've got a one-stop destination where you can access what you need right from your console, smartphone, tablet, or PC.

Docs launched alongside PS4 last November and it has replaced printed manuals for first-party PlayStation titles, as well as select third-party games.

You might have used Docs and not even realized it - you can find the digital manuals on PS4 in a game's Live Tile (press down when you have highlighted a game on PS4's Dynamic Menu). Once you're in, you'll find guides, tutorials, detailed maps, the latest info on DLC or just a quick controller reference guide.

And if you're playing and don't want to pause your game, just go to Docs for PlayStation on your smartphone, tablet, or computer via a web browser,...

To quote: Christmas may be over, but the gaming fun has just begun. For those of you who got a PS Vita from Santa, or as a gift to yourself - congrats! I've collected some handy tips and tricks for you to get the most out of your new Vita.

Longtime PS Vita owners, feel free to chime in and let us know your favorite tips & tricks in the comments section.

Remote Play with PS4

Remote Play is one of my favorite features of PS Vita. This feature lets you stream your PS4 games from your PS4 system over Wi-Fi to your PS Vita. So if the living room TV is tied up, just use Remote Play to send your PS4 game to your Vita and continue playing. For instructions on how to link your PS4 to your PS Vita for Remote Play, click [Register or Login to view links].

PlayStation Now

Our game streaming service that uses cloud-based technology, PS Now, launched in open beta on PS Vita just a few months ago. Through PS Now, you can play hit PS3 games like God of War: Ascension and inFAMOUS on a portable system - how cool is that? To get started, download...

P.T. on PlayStation 4: Survival Tips for Konami's PS4 Horror Hit

400°
13w ago - Konami Community Manager Su-Yina Farmer shared some PlayStation 4 survival tips today for Konami's PS4 horror hit P.T. below.

To quote: Forget the pumpkin spice lattes, Halloween is all about scaring the bejesus out of yourself and those around you.

So what better way to celebrate than turning the lights off, grabbing a headset or turning up your surround system (essential for the full immersive experience) and starting up P.T. - it's free to download on PS Store!

Sure, you can watch the countless videos populating the Internet of horrified gamers, but there's nothing more satisfying than completing the game yourself and obtaining that 'I Played P.T. to the End and Survived' kudos. It's an experience you won't forget.

If you're too terrified to try P.T. out, or have dipped your toe into the game but need a bit of guidance, let me hold your hand and give you a few hints and tips!

Firstly, you'll notice that P.T. plays in a loop: you'll visit the same corridor, but each time something will be different.

You should take the time to inspect and interact with everything: pictures on the walls, items on the floor. Listen closely and pay attention, the devil is in the details after all. Did a door just open? And don't forget to look up...

To quote: Hi Folks, The support for [Register or Login to view links] has been awesome so far and we're excited to launch on the US PlayStation Store today!

We'd like to share a more in-depth look at the gameplay, focusing on some of the more advanced strategies and touch controls.

FSP has been designed in a way that anyone can become a competitive or advanced player, with a ton of depth under the surface. The only limits are your own creativity and deviousness.

FSP isn't about luck in regards to who will win in a firefight, it's totally down to you and your tactics. If a unit on your squad gets shot you'll know why, and how to adapt next time. But when you take out an enemy, you know that you were able to outwit them.

KEYS TO VICTORY

Aside for the commands and moves, victory is just as much about the mind-games between two players, and FSP inspires you to anticipate and deceive your opponent.

Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare: Survival Tips, PS Exclusive Hats

27w ago - Lead Gameplay Designer Chris Fox is here with some Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare survival tips and news on PlayStation exclusive hats today.

To quote: Hi everyone, Chris Fox here, lead gameplay designer on [Register or Login to view links].

We're extremely excited to be releasing Garden Warfare on PS4 and PS3 this August 19th. To celebrate, I'd like to give a quick introduction to our split-screen survival mode, as well as some tips for beginners and veterans alike.

In our split-screen mode, it's you and a friend teaming up to protect your garden from an endless zombie horde. With just two plants versus all of Dr. Zomboss' minions, character selection is key. While all characters can be successful, choosing complementary classes can help to turn the tide in your favor. The Pea Shooter and Sunflower are natural companions.

He's a mid-range specialist, and she's a healer. Pretty obvious stuff, I know. But what you might not know is that the Chomper and Cactus make quite the formidable pair. The Chomper's ability to bite right through armor allows him to take care of pesky Coffin and Outhouse zombies, leaving the Cactus free to snipe ranged zombies from a safe distance.
