7w ago - 2 Player Productions Director of Photography Asif Siddiky takes a closer look at Grim Fandango's surprise revival in a video below today.

To quote: Hi, we're 2 Player Productions, the documentary team that brought you Penny Arcade: The Series, Minecraft: The Story of Mojang, and the Kickstarter-funded Double Fine Adventure!

Two years ago, we teamed up with Double Fine Productions to prove that "[Register or Login to view links]!"

Well, they're dead now, but in the way you've always wanted them to be! Tim Schafer's beloved LucasArts classic Grim Fandango is back, and we've put together this short retrospective documentary to get you primed for its upcoming release.

Over the fifteen years since its debut, adventure game enthusiasts have longed for the opportunity to revisit Schafer's neo-noir take on Mexican folklore, but unless you still had the original (now out-of-print) discs, there was no official, LucasArts-sanctioned way to play it.

When Disney and LucasArts began licensing their properties to other developers last year, Double Fine reached out to arrange a deal that would allow them to resurrect Manny Calavera, travel agent...

To quote: First things first: [Register or Login to view links] is coming to PlayStation 2 Classics. Okay, that's only one thing. But it's super important.

Psychonauts was [Register or Login to view links]'s first game, and it came out for the PlayStation 2 way back in 2005.

We love it a lot. It's the story of a gifted young psychic cadet who must delve deep into dangerous minds and put a stop to a sinister conspiracy. And on August 28th, you will be able to download it to your PlayStation 3 as a PlayStation 2 Classic.

If you never played Psychonauts, you're in for a treat! If you played it before, why not buy it again, just for old time's sake? Ha ha! Tell a friend or two or a hundred.

"So, what took so long?" you may ask. Well, you'd be in fine company for asking. As internet user [Register or Login to view links], "Psychonauts PSN title or PS2 classic PLEASE!!"

Video: Medal of Honor 2010 Trailer Defines Tier One Operative

200°
229w ago - Update: Alongside a new trailer, EA has now slated Metal of Honor Reboot for an October 12, 2010 release in North America and October 15, 2010 in Europe.

Below is a Medal of Honor 2010 trailer video (debuted on GTTV) which defines the Tier One Operative in EA's upcoming reboot of the Medal of Honor series for PS3, XBox 360 and the PC.

It really goes out of its way to explain exactly the kind of gentlemen you'll be piloting this summer.

These guys are Tier One Operators - "experts in the application of violence."

That seems pretty self-explanatory... but we've never been able to turn down a video featuring expertly applied violence.

There will be one seamless single player campaign. The player will play as multiple characters that each partake in diverse and unique experiences from both the "Tier 1" and "Big Military" perspectives.

The storyline will follow several "Tier One Operator" soldiers working under the National Command Authority in Afghanistan.

Players will also step into the shoes of the standard issue military and will be on a larger scale than the "Tier 1 Elite Ops" campaign, as players will only be a small part of the 'war machine'.
