Apparently White Knight has been kept heavily under the wraps in spite of the persistent fans outcries for more footage and/or screenshots.
Even during TGS 2008 (where we all believed we'd finally get to see some serious footage) everything was more or less cloak and dagger.
During TGS though, certain visitors to the White Knight Chronicles booth received a card that allowed them to download and watch a special 14-minute video of the game featuring some in-studio footage, in-game footage, and a pretty awesome transformation into the White Knight.
That video is now available below, courtesy of Joystiq. Enjoy!
In what can only be called strange or awesome, a Chinese developer that now makes MP3 players has ported FF7 to the NES. It is more or less the entire PSX game redone on the old Nintendo. It even includes the materia system.
Note that many of the graphics and sound are edits of FF3 on the NES even though the game itself is actually a new creation, not a hack.

Dark_AleX has examined PSP firmware v3.80 changes, and here are the results:
They now know that with Pandora, we can always access the flash, so they've focused on locking down the PSAR and changing the format of the files/flash. Just more tactics to slow down decryption, but it won't work.
They have only changed the keys of the tables of filenames. The prx's keys are the same than in 3.7X.
However, there is a little surprise in a form of new compression algorithm called KL4E, this time sysmem and loadcore are also compressed. Plus... again new nids.
So it would seem as if the newly-released PSP firmware v3.80 has already been dumped and decrypted. Only time will tell is Alex will release an update to M33 CFW or make users wait longer.
3.80 module list and decryption info below:
Only a example, the offsets for show another version in 3.71 are:
- 0x12B38
- 0x12B3C
In 3.7... More »

Dengeki has interviewed Tetsuya Nomura on the future of Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy XIII and he's revealed some more information on the development of the games.
Nomura says that with the help of the disc space on Blu-Ray and the Hard drive in each PS3, The evolution of Final Fantasy XII to XIII will be as big as the evolution of Final Fantasy VI to VII. He also says that Final Fantasy XIII will probably be the first game to use the full specifications of the Playstation 3. Another interesting thing he mentioned was that the airship present in Final Fantasy Versus XIII will be able to take part in airborne assaults over the world map.
Hopefully we'll see that in action soon. Finally, Dengeki also asked him once again whether the games will be Playstation 3 exclusives which he replied to with "Of course".
