Famitsu Magazine Unveils Dead or Alive: Paradise for PSP

253w ago - Today a few scans (below) from the latest Famitsu Magazine have surfaced unveiling news that Dead or Alive: Paradise from Tecmo will be making its way to Sony's PSP console.

However, it's just a port of the game of the same name released for Japanese cell phones in late 2006, one which lets you play mini games with the girls, as you continue to purchase even skimpier outfits for them.

DOA Paradise is scheduled for a Spring 2010 release in Japan and is a single-player only experience.

PS3 RPG Ar Tonelico 3 Revealed in Latest Famitsu Magazine

263w ago - The latest issue of Famitsu Magazine has revealed that Ar Tonelico 3 will exclusively be hitting the PS3 on January 28, 2010 and Hokuto no Ken Musou will also arrive next year.

According to PSU (linked above), there will be an Ar Tonelico event at the Akihabara Enta Festival on the 25th if you're in Japan and want to go.

To quote from rykomatsu's article translation:

The Ar Tonelico series takes place on the planet of Ar Ciel. Due to a prior catastrophy, humanity is forced to take refuge on one of 3 towers, called Ar Tonelico, located around the planet.

•Ar Tonelico I takes place on Sol Ciel
•Ar Tonelico II takes place on Meta Falas
•Ar Tonelico III takes place on Sol Clusta

Sol Clusta is dominated by Reyvateils which are the ruling class. The ideal world to them consists only of Reyvateils and purified humans (ie. slaves)

Saki - Heroine (CV: Gotou Mai)
Reyvateil who was created in a laboratory for a plan that would have far reaching effects on the world (unclear if it's limited to Sol Clusta or the planet of Ar Ciel). Famitsu Magazine Reveals New From Software PS3 Game

271w ago - Today the Examiner (linked above) is reporting that the latest issue of Famitsu Magazine has revealed a new PS3 video game by developer From Software... namely, 3D Dot Game Heroes.

A picture from the magazine article is below, and currently it's believed to be the the 'mystery title' on the From Software Japanese [Register or Login to view links].

To quote: "The new issue of Famitsu revealed the latest PlayStation 3 game developed by From Software. 3D Dot Game Heroes has a unique visual style in which 2D sprites become 3D.

It looks like it could be the mystery title on the From Software Web site.

Previously, From Software developed the cult hit Demon's Souls for the PlayStation 3, which will come out in North America on October 6."
 

White Knight Chronicles 2 is Revealed in Latest Famitsu Magazine

274w ago - Today roswellmax of the [Register or Login to view links] forums has posted a scan (below) from the latest Famitsu magazine revealing that White Knight Chronicles 2 is in the works.

To quote: Level 5's White Knight Chronicles still hasn't been released here in North America, and already revealed are plans for a sequel.

According to the latest Famitsu magazine, White Knight Chronicles 2 is in development. The Famitsu translation reveals a few interesting facts about the game.

The translation reads: In WKC I, your avatar only tagged along, but in WKC II, the avatar is planned to be treated differently.

Tilian of GameTrailers adds to the translation simply: "story is not yet complete."
 

428 Announced for PlayStation 3 in Latest Famitsu Magazine

277w ago - The latest issue of Famitsu Magazine has announced that 428, a graphic-novel game for the Wii that received a perfect score in Famitsu, is coming to PlayStation 3 and PSP soon in Japan.

Of course, it's nothing to drool over, since those who can't read Japanese can make no use of the game.

The PlayStation 3 version will go for 7140 Yen and the PSP version will sell for 5040 Yen.
