52w ago - Following up on RenPKG and RAP2RIF, PlayStation 3 homebrew developer Eslab has now made available RIF2RAP which no longer requires users to downgrade their PS3 console to 3.55 to export the RAP files.
With this application, it is now possible to convert RIF files on the PlayStation 3 console to RAP files.
From mikufans: Hello, recently my friend released a tool: rif2rap. It does help those who want to share the rap. And there is no need to downgrade the PS3 concole to 3.55 to export the rap. Just run this rif2rap.exe, and get the rap.
Tested OK by some of my friends. The Tutorial is so easy that no need to explain here.

Hi Everyone: PS3 ROCK BAND DISC EXPORT TITLE UPDATE
First and foremost, we're happy to announce that PS3 users will soon be able to export RB1 songs to their system in advance of the launch of RB2! A PS3 patch will be coming out this Thursday, September 11th, which will allow RB1 song export, in addition to updating DLC to our RB2 standards (so you can continue to rock the newer content in RB1 if you so choose!)
This title update will also patch for the use of the Guitar Hero III Les Paul PS3 Controller with RB1 on the PS3. We're excited to release this, as controller compatibility is something we've been working towards for a long time.
This Rock Band 1 title update is set to come out next Thursday. As with the Xbox 360 Title Update, you will have to update Rock Band in order to play any DLC that is released after Thursday.

Due to technical issues with the submission of "Livin on the Corner of Dude and Catastrophe" by MC Frontalot, users who downloaded that track or the entire pack found that they were not able to play this content in the game. Furthermore, downloading the pack meant that all 3 songs...

This program was inspired by the batch file that NZHawk wrote to combine SAK exported ISO images. After looking over the batch file, I noticed it was doing a binary combine at the DOS command level. NZHawk requested somebody convert it to VB, but I decided to do something similar in VC# since I have not coded in VB for some time.
The program is self explanatory. You choose the source directory with the BROWSE button. Then, it will show a list of files in that directory. Any files with the extension .A? will be selected automatically (these are the SAK export files). You can select or deselect any files...
