Konami announced today that the Meme expansion should be available for download next week. November 25th to be exact, which places the release on a Tuesday. I would have expected it on a Thursday, but I suppose most be too busy with the Thanksgiving holiday.
The Meme expansion of course adds three new maps to Metal Gear Online, along with two new characters; Revolver Ocelot and the lovely Mei Ling, who has the means to transfix enemies by strutting her stuff.

Just over two weeks ago there were reports of WipEout HD crashing/freezing and some partially-working DIY-style fixes.
The good news is, WipEout HD has now been patched in order to fix the common game freezing problem among PSN users with over 50 friends.
Currently this patch is available for the European version only, though it is expected to go live in America very soon. The patch notes, which can be retrieved from within the game, state that your save file needs to be deleted after the patch has been installed for the fix to take affect.
This means your lap times, team loyalties and other single-player stats and options will be lost. Your trophies and leaderboard scores, however, won't be lost.
If you've been sidestepping the issue by playing whilst signed out of the PSN, starting again is no doubt quite an annoyance. Don't... More »

A short while ago, Euro gaming Web site Eurogamer announced that they were offering 5800 keys for the LittleBigPlanet European BETA, and then they quickly disappeared under a raging tide of sack boy-hungry Europeans.
The sheer numbers have brought the Web site to its knees - with users trying to get there simply to get the link to entry page for the story and have had no luck whatsoever, and with the key offer requiring Eurogamer registration, both the front and and back end are getting completely slammed, bringing to mind a mental picture that I will quickly put out of my head.
Needless to say, all of the LittleBigPlanet keys are now gone, with this note: Sorry for all those who had trouble connecting during the stampede, and apologies to those who missed out.

Looks like the French games company is targeting proven Sony stars. Their high-profile acquisition of former Worldwide Studios giant Phil Harrison took the industry by surprise. Many of us were shocked to see such a successful reign at Sony Computer Entertainment move to a company with a track record like Atari.
Today, it's been revealed that the gorgeous Paulina Bozek, creative director of Sony's popular SingStar franchise, is also finding a new home at Atari. She will head a new studio, based in Hammersmith, London, that will focus on developing other mass-market games for "online-enabled devices," including PCs and consoles.
"I am very excited to be joining Atari at this pivotal time for both the company and the industry," said Bozek.
Phil Harrison, Bozek's former boss at Sony, added: "This is a significant step in expanding Atari's online game development capability.
Paulina is one of the industry's most respected ... More »
