Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation Out Today

500°
2d ago - Idea Factory International's David Alonzo confirmed that Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation is officially out today on PS Vita with details below.

To quote: Good morning, ladies and gentlemen. And what a glorious morning it is! You know why? Because Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth2: Sisters Generation comes out today, exclusively for PS Vita!

For those who haven't played a Hyperdimension Neptunia title before, it takes place in a world fittingly called Gamindustri, where four Goddesses - each representing a certain game console - battle for control of the land (while breaking the fourth wall at every opportune moment).

In Re;Birth2, however, these Goddesses have been banished to an underworld by the piracy-loving Arfoire Syndicate and now it's up to their younger sisters to save the Goddesses and save the day. A remake of the PS3 title Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2, this game comes packed to the gills with new characters, new story, and new gameplay!

You'll encounter enemies like Super Otaku, living Tetris-like blocks, and screenshots of visual novels in battles that combine action RPG and turn-based RPG elements. Cut them down with 8 characters in battle - 4 on the main line, and 4 others that can jump in with support attacks or that can be swapped in at...

8w ago - Today Chris Miller and John Mundy of Fun Bits Interactive officially announced Fat Princess Adventures for PlayStation 4 alongside a PS4 trailer video below!

To quote: Hey, this is Chris Miller and John Mundy. We're the studio head and creative director of Fun Bits Interactive, and we're here at Sony's PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas to announce our latest game, Fat Princess Adventures.

This new Fat Princess is bigger and badder than ever, with tons of fast-paced hack 'n' slash action. Up to four players can play together online or on the couch to save the world in this casual co-op RPG adventure.

The warring kingdoms from the original game have signed a truce and joined forces to battle the Bitter Queen and her army of hungry Gobblings.

Your epic quest will span the length and breadth of the land of Great Bitten, from the pinnacles of the Salt Mountains to the depths of the Mines of S'morsia. Along the way you'll fight dozens of new enemy types ranging from sticky cake golems to dreaded pirates.

Fans of the original game will instantly recognize the classic character classes: the Warrior, the Archer, the Mage, and the Engineer. This time however you can upgrade your character...

Video: Tripwire Interactive Bringing Killing Floor 2 to PlayStation 4

8w ago - Tripwire Interactive Vice President Alan Wilson announced today that the time is right for bringing Killing Floor 2 to PS4!

To quote: Hi everyone. Alan Wilson here. I'm the Vice President at Tripwire Interactive.

What I enjoy doing for the company is writing, game design and research, but I also get to do all the crap no-one else wants to do. Except right now, when I get to talk about a huge step for us - Killing Floor 2 on PS4.

Tripwire Interactive was formed about 10 years ago and we released the original Killing Floor on PC in 2009. Since then, we've released a ton of additional content for free, added in some fun DLC, sold nearly 3 million units of the game and about 10 million units of DLC.

In case you're not familiar with Killing Floor, the game is a fun, dark, sometimes humorous take on a first person survival horror. Its really perfect for a console outing. So, we've been asked why we never did console before.

We've actually talked to a number of console teams over the last few years. But there always seemed to be reasons not to do it. One of the biggest for us was our independence. There always used to be a push to have us publish through some big publisher.

And...

Video: Over-the-top Shooter Loadout Getting Cooperative Campaign

50°
9w ago - Edge of Reality's Greg Bauman shared a PS4 video today announcing that their PlayStation 4 over-the-top shooter Loadout is getting a cooperative campaign!

To quote: Hello again, PlayStation fans! I'm Greg Bauman from Edge of Reality, the fine folks behind [Register or Login to view links], the game we introduced you to at E3 this year. The team here has been toiling away to get our game ready to play on PS4!

These things do take time - there's a lot of work in checking, adjusting, and cleaning the barrels on several billion weapons. The amount of gun wax we go through in a day - don't get me started.

Still, we've made fantastic progress, and Loadout will be making its PS4 console-exclusive debut very soon! Before you know it, the ridiculously explosive world of Loadout will be swarming with PS4 players! That's the good news.

The bad news is, you guys won't be arriving alone. Take a look at THESE guys...

It turns out when we announced that we were letting the PS4 community fight over shiny, precious rocks in Loadout, a group of intergalactic, Blutonium-hungry killers decided to show up and take all the rocks...

Sony Announces Freedom Wars: Special Operations Start Today

250°
12w ago - Sony Associate Project Manager Nick Accordino announced that Freedom Wars: Special Operations start today with details below.

To quote: My fellow sinners,

Let me be the first to say that I've been completely overwhelmed by all of the love we've seen for Freedom Wars since we launched last Tuesday - I can't say thank you enough.

Reviews have been great, the online battles have been intense, and I've had the pleasure of fighting alongside some of the most amazing Sinners I'd ever imagined. It's hard to believe how many of you are already at CODE 7 and 8.

But what's left to challenge you after you've reached CODE 8? What kind of extra-tough challenges are there to keep you busy once your Panopticon is at the top of the charts? Allow me to introduce the downloadable "Special Operations" - extra difficult missions meant only for the highest-level teams out there, rotating in and out on a daily basis.

"But what's in it for me?" you might ask. What if I told you that certain rare resources will only be available to those who complete these Special Operations? That the key to completing that weapon you've dreamed of lies within one of these extra difficult missions? Tempted?

I hope so, because that's exactly what's at stake here. Co-op is highly recommended...
