19w ago - Vivid Games Brand Manager Jan Chichlowski announced today that Real Boxing on PS Vita enters the ring this August 27th for $9.99.
To quote: Here at Vivid Games we do like a fight. The art team is terrible at making teas and coffees - so that often ends in fisticuffs.
The sound guys are always making too much noise - and with the recent warm weather that's meant we've been extra grumpy, so often their racket has ended in a punch-up. And as for the management team? Well they are often throwing their weight around - so the rest of us really enjoy punching them in the face.
Not in real life, obviously. Fortunately, as the developer and publisher of Real Boxing, we're able to settle any disputes we have in the virtual ring. And we're really excited to reveal that you guys will be able to do the same on PS Vita on August 27th, for $9.99.
As the name suggests, Real Boxing is a boxing simulation game where you'll create a boxer and take him on a journey from amateur to pro. There are also a multitude of other modes and features including multiplayer so you can touch gloves remotely with friends.
There will also be regular tournaments based on leaderboard rankings, so there's always a new challenge ahead. Boxing games seem to be rather few and far between, so we're...
114w ago - SCEE Contributing Editor Roland Fauster has announced today that Skyrim: The Elder Scrolls Saga is entering its fifth round on PS3, as follows:
Role-playing games have underpinned the history of computer games, even more so perhaps than the first-person shooters that reign today. Long before the first gamers fired at their virtual enemies with a mouse-click, lone disciples of the genre had already been wandering through text-based dungeons, which then formed the basis for increasingly complex game worlds.
Complexity is the key word here: the success of every RPG rests in how accurately worlds from the infinite imagination can be reproduced in a video game.
Bethesda has proved time and time again that they are easily up to the task with their Elder Scrolls series, and during an hour-long gaming session we were again convinced that the latest installment, Skyrim, would deliver high-end RPG entertainment.
Who let the dragons out?
I won't give too much of the story away; the main plot was actually disabled for our demo so we were only allowed a glimpse into a side-quest. However, it was still clear that the mystical world is again...
233w ago - Apparently a burglar tried to rob a Gamestop branch located in East Liberty, PA.
Despite exceptionally high security, he managed to get into the store easily but when he got inside just to discover that the front door and the back door both were tightly locked, the poor guy got scared (might have felt the walls closing on him) and used a cabinet to climb and escape throw the hole in the roof empty handed.
Surveillance video caught a man cutting a hole in the roof in order to break in and now Investigators are trying to identify the burglar.
To quote: Police said surveillance video shows a man cutting a hole in the roof in order to break in. They said he got inside but was unable to get out.
"You can look right up and see the hole where he fell through," said Venetta Regan, whose son works at the store.
Perhaps they should just leave the man alone, he went through enough already.
