14w ago - Following up on his previous revisions, ReActPSN has now been updated to version 3.11 from PlayStation 3 developer reactpsn (originally by ccregame) which now includes PS3 BDselector Safe Mode and more as outlined below.

  • Added BDselector safe mode, support launch game from orignal BD icon.
  • Added professional (fix seg6001) downgrade backup games&patches to BDselector & BDloader.

24w ago - While the game isn't even officially out yet, today The perfect Dark confirmed that Call of Duty (CoD) Ghosts is already hacked on both PlayStation 3 (PS3) and XBox 360 platforms with details below.

To quote: Summary: Cheats (aimbot, wallhack), perks and Prestige 10.

Sony on PS4 HDMI Capture, PlayStation 4 PSN Download Speed, More

31w ago - Following up on his previous PlayStation 4 updates, today Sony Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida shared details on the PS4, HDMI capture functionality, PSN download speeds and requirements for upgrading games from PS3 to PS4.

From DualShockers.com (linked above), to quote: "The first is on the disk requirement of the upgrade of select games from the PS3 to the PS4 version. Looks like the PS4′s disk drive will have some work to do.

  • Jon Haeffele (jj75XP): So for PS3-PS4 game upgrade will the PS3 disc need to be in the PS4 once or will it be every time when trying to play the PS4 version?
  • Shuhei Yoshida (yosp): every time

The second tidbit of information is on the recently announced support of video capture via HDMI. Don’t expect it for launch, as it will be introduced afterwards with a patch.

  • Sagman12 (sagman12PC): Will HDMI capture work on day 1 or is it a patch you guys will release after the ps4 launch?

GT6 Demo Today, Download & Qualify for Nissan GT Academy 2013

42w ago - Sony Product Manager Ken Chan announced that the GT6 demo is officially available today and invites fans to download and qualify for Nissan GT Academy 2013.

To quote: Do you have what it takes to go from couch to cockpit and join the Nissan GT Academy team? The 2013 GT Academy competition begins today at 5:00pm Pacific Time when an exclusive demo of Gran Turismo 6 for PS3 becomes available to download.

The GT6 demo will guide players through GT Academy-themed driving school challenges before unlocking the final qualifying event. Players have the potential to qualify for this year's GT Academy, kick-starting a journey that could lead to a real-life racing career with Nissan. The demo includes the following modes on the new Silverstone track:

•A quick tutorial that includes tips and tricks on the controls and navigating around the track

•Four warm-up races using two Nissan cars, the LEAF and 370Z

•Five time trials on the Silverstone track driving the Nissan 370Z, four of which take place on various sections of the track, and one being the full lap. That one full lap time becomes the entry time for GT Academy. Enter as often as you like before 3:59pm Pacific Time on July 28th.

Below are the details, to quote: A lot of unusual things go on here at ATLUS, and as a publisher known for delivering great JRPG content, Demon's Souls represented something unique even for us: runaway mainstream success.

In the years since its release, Demon's Souls went far above and beyond our usual humble offerings, partly because it's such a special game. It's a Japanese-developed RPG, made by From Software, but it has a distinctly Western look and feel in the weight of its movements and the ruthlessness of its enemies and environments.

It's a single-player title, but it has a strong online component unlike anything that came before it, where you can summon other players as friendly ghosts to give you a hand, or be invaded by hostile marauders without warning.

Its unsparing difficulty seemed to mark it as destined to be appreciated only by a select few, yet it's been universally lauded (and awarded Game of the Year by a few, including GameSpot) and remains our highest-selling title ever.
