8w ago - Following up on his previous revision, today PlayStation 3 homebrew game developer ThatOtherDev has released a PS3 port of Dance Clone v0.6 alongside Avoidance v1.3 for PS3 CFW 4.XX users below.
To quote from his blog: Here is the first look at the inexplicably popular on Wii but extremely buggy and consequently abandoned and now remade Dance Clone. It isn't much of a game yet.
But I'm a lot more excited about working on it now that I have a fresh start and I'm going to be releasing it for both Wii and PS3 (starting here with PS3). So you can expect updates in the future. I'll try to even get more done before this months psx-scene deadline.
It controls with the directional buttons. If anyone has a PS3 dance mat (the one that came with Dance Dance Revolution for PS3, a third party mat or even a PS2 dance mat with a converter) then I would greatly appreciate it if you would test it out.
87w ago - Sony Associate Product Marketing Manager Sharon Kapitula has announced that Everybody Dance launches today, and shared a Party Play video with the 49ers Gold Rush cheerleaders below!
To quote: Everybody Dance, the ultimate party game for PlayStation 3, launches today! Now, with the power of PlayStation Move, you'll be able to dance alongside authentic music videos for 40 of your favorite hit tracks.
To celebrate the game's release, we're happy to unveil the latest addition to our Dancer Diaries video series - Party Play with the San Francisco 49ers Gold Rush cheerleaders!
A few weekends ago, we invited the squad over to PlayStation HQ for an Everybody Dance party. Check out the video for a glimpse of the 49ers Gold Rush showing off their best dance moves while playing Everybody Dance!
Spirits were high as the ladies played through several rounds of Everybody Dance's Party Play mode, which allows up to 20 people to compete in head to head dance-offs.
To get the party started, each dancer simply sets up their profile by taking a photo with the PlayStation Eye camera and then the game automatically matches players up and tracks their wins.
87w ago - Today Associate Product Marketing Manager Sharon Kapitula has shared an Everybody Dance Series video dubbed Creating Choreography with the Dance Creator below.
To quote: The launch of Everybody Dance, the all-new party game for the PlayStation Move, is just a few days away!
To illustrate some of the coolest features in the game, we have created the Dancer Diaries, a series of videos where professional dancers record and share their experiences playing Everybody Dance.
Today, we want to share the first in the series, which provides a walk-through of Everybody Dance's Dance Creator mode. With Dance Creator, anyone can easily choreograph their own dances, record their routines, and then save them in-game so they can challenge friends to compete against their moves.
To show you just how awesome Dance Creator is, our very own Rey Gutierrez traveled to Miami to direct the Everybody Dance dev diary series with the expertise of Emmy-nominated dancer, actor, and choreographer Glenn Douglas Packard. Watch the video to see how Glenn and his crew of professional dancers stack up against Dance Creator.
Also, this week marked the launch of our Everybody Dance tab on the PlayStation Facebook page. Check...
