We didn't lose too much time to test old consoles, the priority is to give something real full working for D2E and D2C2! After we get positive feedbacks from users here we will compile the version for A3P125.
Sorry for delay but we are FULL working on ARGON2 that soon will be here... this new modchip will introduce new features that no competitors has.. like 9 months ago ARGON SPI did with 13 wires...

The folks at Wasabi have confirmed that their method already works on the newly released "D2E" drives found in the latest Nintendo Wii consoles.
After dumping the firmware, they found the D2E firmware was created on 12th February 2008 while the Diagrams for Wasabi were released on 19th February - Wii and GC backups are also confirmed to be running.
To quote: Did you hear about the new D2E drive? We've only got a couple of reports of those drives seen in the wild so you don't need to worry about them yet, but they have been spotted at different places. They are the successors of D2C2 drives and the the curious may be wondering if this new drive is a reaction to Wasabi's 9-wire patching method.
There's one way to know for sure, that is dumping the firmware and look at the build date to see if it was created before or after Wasabi diagrams (below).

Ohhhhhh... finally we are ready to start BETA2 firmware testing... this ZIP FILE has inside all necessary to test ARGON on the new D2C2 boards... and not only this!!!
This firmware include the D2C support with ALL THE OLD BUGS FIXED, so is good for all users that didn't install ARGON 9 WIRES before cause the EJECT etc bugs reported!!

Infectus has announced the release of Wiiktus Firmware v1.2 BETA for their Argon/Infectus mod-chip line.

The Argon with Wiiktus Firmware has been tested and confirmed working perfectly on D2C Wii USA and JAP versions.
Additionally, the new Infectus 2 will be available on January 10th, 2008 for those interested. Below is a picture of the Argon 13-wire installation- enjoy! ;)
Dark_AleX has examined PSP firmware v3.80 changes, and here are the results:
They now know that with Pandora, we can always access the flash, so they've focused on locking down the PSAR and changing the format of the files/flash. Just more tactics to slow down decryption, but it won't work.
They have only changed the keys of the tables of filenames. The prx's keys are the same than in 3.7X.
However, there is a little surprise in a form of new compression algorithm called KL4E, this time sysmem and loadcore are also compressed. Plus... again new nids.
So it would seem as if the newly-released PSP firmware v3.80 has already been dumped and decrypted. Only time will tell is Alex will release an update to M33 CFW or make users wait longer.

Many customers are asking in these days if ARGON is or not compatible with US and JAP WII... well teorically it works without any problem on them, this because all consoles have the same DVD controller, BUT the 100% confirmation will arrive this weekend, when we can test two consoles that are in arrival from US and JAP.
