Here is v1.2 of my PS3 Update Checker (Firmware Auto-Downloader) which mainly includes bug fixes.

Changes:-
1. Stop the icon animating once download complete (D'OH!)
2. Messages made bit more relevant
3. Re-enable timer after download if the option was selected !...
