Kojima Countdown Timer Site Now Reveals a Mask

300°
290w ago - Update: The cover of the upcoming Famitsu PSP/PS3 issue which promises to have huge blowout on the upcoming Metal Gear Solid game is below... no translation is available yet though.

As was previously mentioned in the recent issue of Famitsu, the countdown teaser Web site for Kojima Production's next project has changed once again.

Now, you will not only see a lot of new characters flash by but also the image of Raiden (assuming that's Raiden) as well as a strange mask which the Kojima Production's logo morphs into.

Not only that, but by clicking on the logo at the teaser site, you will be brought to YET ANOTHER [Register or Login to view links] for something called 'Mask'. What does this mean, two announcements for E3? Perhaps MGS5 and Mask?

Additionally, as noted by [Register or Login to view links]...

New Kojima's Next Countdown Timer Revealed

400°
291w ago - WTF you would say... after the previous countdown timer reaching to 0, another 199 hour countdown...

Now with new letters-numbers, it looks like E e 5 3... or 5 E 3 9, or P S 3.

Or E3? or MGS 5?...

Well, now I got all really mixed up. Any guesses?

BTW I can't post 4 images... so the last you'll have to see it for yourself.

Kojima's NEXT Site Gets a Countdown Timer

550°
291w ago - As a follow-up to the previous article of a Japanese magazine ad indicating that Kojima's new project will be revealed on the 18th of May, a countdown timer has now appeared.

The game is set to be revealed later today on Kojima's [Register or Login to view links] Web site (also linked above).

Now... when the thunder sounds, you can see a 5... but, for what Kojima's used to offer us, it's hard to belive a Metal Gear 5, and I'd say it's rather an S than a 5 (five).

Diablo 3 countdown timer?

50°
348w ago - Our friends at Blizzplanet sent along a mysterious little tip. Diablo3.com is not actually a Blizzard site (at least currently) – it appears to be somehow affiliated with Blizzplanet's network (there are also links to WoW Radio, so we're checking with them to see what's up as well).

But on both Diablo3.com and Blizzplanet, there is now a countdown leading up to thirteen days from now, which lands us squarely on May 1st. On Blizzplanet, there is a note that says "The Church of the Triune will be shaken in..." On Diablo3.com, the message is much more practical: "The number of days until half the web links to Diablo3.com. But why???"

So what's happening on May 1st? Best case scenario, of course, is the official announcement of a third title in the Diablo series. I wouldn't hold your breath on that one, however – while it has been rumored for a long time, it seems unlikely that Blizzard would break the news on an unofficial site.

But then again, maybe it won't be an unofficial site by then – if diablo3.com was sold to or otherwise obtained by Blizzard (they obviously own the trademark), and is switching over on May 1st, that would definitely be enough reason for "half the Web" to link to it, even without an official announcement of the game.

Either way,...
