21w ago - Sony Marketing Promotions Specialist Michael Steranka announced today that PlayStation 4 will be present at Comic-Con 2013 including the first public PS4 hands-on presentation with details below.
To quote: As Comic-Con regulars know, there's nothing more valuable at the yearly convention than time. With panel lines literally out the door and the Exhibitor Hall packed wall-to-wall with scurrying people, it's often hard to decide how to allocate your precious time. This year, we're making that decision a no-brainer. Want to know why?
You guessed it (probably because it's in the headline of this post!) - we're bringing PS4 to Comic-Con 2013.
For the first time ever, gamers can go hands-on with the PS4. On top of that, we'll be showing off some of this year's most highly anticipated PS3 and PS Vita titles, as well as participating in a number of panels throughout the weekend. If that's not enough, we're also hosting contests at the PlayStation booth every day where we'll be giving away PS Vitas!
To help you plan your Comic-Con experience accordingly, here's a list of everything PlayStation at this year's convention:
73w ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli is here with some video highlights from The Last Of Us Comic-Con 2012 panel today for fans.
To quote: In San Diego this past week, we were floored to see how many people turned out for Comic-Con!
The highlight of our very busy weekend was our The Last of Us panel. We couldn't believe how long some people waited in line to attend our panel on Friday.
Some amazing cosplayers came by, and the room was just packed in general. The enthusiasm there was infectious and truly exciting.
We had The Last of Us Creative Director, Neil Druckmann, and Game Director, Bruce Straley, discuss various game inspirations and dive deeper into the characters, the plausible science behind the game, and the character acting behind the scenes.
Actor Troy Baker (Joel) and actress Ashley Johnson (Ellie) commented on their performance capture experiences and actor W. Earl Brown (There's Something About Mary, Deadwood) was introduced in a new cinematic as Bill, a new character in the world of The Last of Us.
If you weren't around to see the panel, here's a condensed look...
We had an unbelievable E3 and SDCC shaped up to be equally inspiring...
Last Saturday, a bunch of us took a trip down to San Diego for Comic-Con, where we held a panel that focused on the art of The Unfinished Swan. We want to thank everyone who attended - you're all beautiful people.
If you couldn't make it to the panel, we've put together this highlight reel so you can watch all the good parts!
The panel was hosted by Morgan Webb, who made sure things went super smooth as we discussed the ups and downs of developing such a unique game.
On stage we had Ian Dallas, Hokyo Lim, Max Geiger, and me. We showed off some never-before-seen concept art, and talked about how we developed the art style for The Unfinished Swan.
We've been really quiet throughout development in hopes of preserving the game's surprises, so it was refreshing to have the chance to speak with fans about our inspirations.
Thanks for being patient with us! We've got more to reveal soon,...

To quote: Greetings! Yesterday was my first time at San Diego Comic-Con and I was amazed at the people I saw! What costumes! It's great to see so many people embracing their passion.
After such an amazing E3, I was lucky enough to come here to speak to some incredible supporters of the game in a panel hosted by IGN's Greg Miller. Joining me was the lovely and talented Ellen Page, who we are very lucky to have playing BEYOND's main character, Jodie Holmes.
We had a great discussion about how we are combining the latest in performance capture technology and amazing acting talent in the hopes of creating a truly unique and emotional experience for all of you to enjoy.
We were also happy to reveal additional talented cast members, Kadeem Hardison and Eric Winter, experienced actors who you may have seen both on TV and film.
Please enjoy a recap of our Comic-Con panel above. And on behalf of the team at Quantic Dream, thank you so much for your support so far. We are hard...
