To quote: We're very excited to announce the final 12 gamers who will appear on Season 2 of PlayStation Network's exclusive original competitive reality series, The Tester.

From Maine to California, this season's cast is talented, passionate, and very competitive. Only one will win the job working for PlayStation in San Diego, California along with a $5000 signing bonus, a 42" 3D Bravia TV, and a 'The Tester' limited edition PS3 game system.

To quote: After four intense rounds of voting among more than 28,000 registered participants, we'd like to congratulate the winner of our first-ever online casting contest for The Tester: Mickey Paradis (aka 8bitmickey) from Denton, Texas.

After receiving a majority of the 350,000+ community votes, he will join the rest of the cast this Fall for the launch of the newest season of The Tester.

If you've been following our ten-week long Summer casting contest, you're probably familiar with 8bitmickey's hilarious and well-admired video submissions. Well, he's got one more for all of his loyal supporters to say "thanks."

164w ago - PlayStation Network Executive Producer Kevin Furuichi has revealed that tomorrow fans can meet The Tester cast members Amped and Cyrus in PlayStation Home.

To quote: Last week we got to know Big D and Nauseous during their special appearance in PlayStation Home. Both had hilarious things to say about their experiences on The Tester and we found out more about what happened when the cameras weren't rolling.

Many of you have been asking about two of the strongest contestants Amped and Cyrus.

Well, due to popular demand, both are scheduled to appear in The Tester PlayStation Home Theater tomorrow, March 31 from 6PM PDT/9 PM EDT - 7:30 PM PDT/10:30 PM EDT.

Now, with only two episodes left in the series, the competition gets really intense and 'Amped' and 'Cyrus' both have a serious shot at winning it all. Come meet them in PlayStation Home on Wednesday night.

To quote: Thanks again to everyone who turned out to chat with The Tester cast members, Luge and Doc, last Wednesday. We all learned some fun stuff about them and what it was like during the production of the series.

The special 'appearance' was such a hit that PlayStation Home Community Managers have arranged another special event tonight.

The Tester's own Big D and Nauseous are scheduled to appear in The Tester PlayStation Home theater from 6PM PDT/9 PM EDT - 7PM PDT/10 PM EDT this evening.

Both are hardcore PlayStation gamers who surprised us all with their mad LARPing skills back in Episode 4. Please join us for this unique opportunity to meet two of The Tester's most popular cast members.
