PlayStation is partnering with Activision to pair the blockbuster and record-setting video game franchise Call of Duty along with the best console for core gamers, the PS3.
Today we are announcing a Limited Edition PS3 Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 bundle which includes a copy of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, the hit title that set a new entertainment launch record upon its release in November, and a 320GB PlayStation 3 System, for only $299.

184w ago - As if the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise hasn't seen more than its fair share of PS3 Hacks (see HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE), today Hunter128 from NextGenUpdate.com (linked above) has revealed some new exploits on the current CoD 1.10 patch.
According to the video, the new MW2 PlayStation 3 hacks include Super Sprint, Super Knife and AC130 in every care package.
NGUHSx9 also states the following via YouTube, to quote: "Expect more hacking videos including possibly all emblems and titles hack, infinite ammo, etc..."

208w ago - Today TheUnkn0wn from the NGU forums (linked above) has released a Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 CVAR Tool v2.0 for PS3.
This tool allows you mod your SAVEGAME.SVG file so you can have things like super jump, infinate ammo, infinate health, all weapons and much more.
This is ONLY FOR SINGLE PLAYER AND SPEC-OPS. I copied a list of the CVARs (commands) and in the screen shot you can see how you enter the CVARs. Not sure what all commands do but you can experiment with the commands and different values.
Changes in v2.0 I have fixed the 'Fix Checksum', it should now work properly.
I have modified the CVAR's in the CVAR List. Bugs that made 2 byte values create an incompatible gamesave have been fixed!
Why Release? I am the first to do this aswell as reverse the checksum myself, as I have been able to do this for quite a while. I just thought I might aswell release it as there's nothing special about it.
209w ago - A few days ago we saw a barrage of videos on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 glitches and PS3 hacks.
Today, Codb0t (linked above) reports that the first Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 AimBot for PS3 has arrived, although it may not be publically released until this Christmas.
For those unaware, an aimbot is a game bot used in multiplayer first-person shooter games to provide varying levels of target acquisition assistance to the player. As it gives the user an unfair advantage over unaided players, it is considered cheating and is often frowned upon by honest players.
That being said, to quote from their latest update:
"So you have all seen the MW2 Leaderboard hack on PS3 were people are changing there scores to what ever they like and their rank to 10th in 5 mins. Well we have gone one better. The first MW2 BOT for PS3 - Also know as Codb0t.
As you can see from the pictures below it puts red field box around the other team. With this you can easily see were the other team are. We have also worked out a code were you can also make the b0t automatically aim for you.
How did we do it? Well we took all the MW2 Files and played around with the code...
211w ago - It's time for my brand new Call of Duty 6 PS3 review. I'm sorry, I mean Call of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2... Wait I don't think that's right either. Alright one last try, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, that's the title.
I love the Call of Duty Franchise, but I feel that they may be getting a little out of hand with the titles of their games.
Although Activision isn't the only company to mess this up, I find it quite annoying, and a person who doesn't follow the series very closely wont be able to distinguish in what order the games came out without doing research beforehand.
A minor complaint but the question is "Where does this fit into the Call of Duty series?" and quite simply put, Activision decided to split the series into two different game titles.
Modern Warfare made by Infinity Ward, and World at War made by Treyarch. Although the first Modern Warfare game was called Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, it is not a part of the original series and instead is classified under their new separate call of duty series.
Like I said before I believe it's a little too confusing for the average person, so I suggest their...
