OK. I couldn't help myself. I have been in quite a festive mood as we near the release of Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake. I couldn't help myself from trying out a bit of prose. As you can see... I won't be running off to publish any poetry books in the near future, but I WILL be playing Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake on my PSP.
I'm very proud of this game and how well SuperVillain Studios brought all of the PS3 fun into the PSP. Plus they have added so much more to it with new game modes like Demolition, Jailbreak and Grim Reaper, plus the neat Dilapidated...
170w ago - SCEA Santa Monica Studios Associate Producer Matt Morton has shared a video trailer today alongside details of Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake for Sony's PSP console.
To quote: I'm VERY excited to be talking today about Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake, and to let everyone know that you will be able to have your very own copy beginning Tuesday, April 27 via the PlayStation Store or UMD at participating retail outlets!
Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake is everything you love about Fat Princess on the PS3, and it fits right in the palm of your hand. Plus, there are even more slices of cakey goodness in the PSP version, as we've added additional content to this wonderful game.
We've got new game modes, new maps, a new extended storyline for single player.... heck, there is just a LOT of fun to be had with Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake!
195w ago - According to JoyStiq (linked above), Fat Princess: Fistful of Cake for PSP will feature 50 percent more content than it's PSN counterpart.
Included are new modes where the class switching hat generators are busted from the off; meaning you'll need to collect some resources to repair them.
Another mode will also see the removal of the princess. In her place - bombs. Yes, you'll need to work as a team to bomb the castle.
To quote: "So, we of course asked for more details and learned that the game will have a variety of modes not found in the PS3 release, including one where the class hat generators are busted at the beginning of the match and must be repaired using resources before they can be used.
Another mode removes the princess from the equation and has players delivering something to their opponents' castle rather than removing it - a bomb. Sony calls this portable version of the game "Fat Princess 1.5," saying that it also has an expanded single-player component, a new map and the aforementioned new modes (plus some)."
