The original Pirate Bay ruling was appealed against as the judge was a member of the Swedish Copyright Association, hence there may be some bias in his ruling.

He was then replaced by another judge who has since been dismissed as well, as she too is a member of the copyright associations.

To quote: Jumping for joy at judge's replacement: A pirate, today. So, the...

The question first popped in my head probably around mid 2008. But the article that helped me answer the question was the Top Five Ways Microsoft's XBox 360 Has Beaten Sony's PS3.

To answer the question of fanboyism, first we have to look into the situation as a whole. Personally, I think the fanboy situation may be a little amusing and irritating at some points, but since it's 2009, I think it's time to give fanboyism the...

The judge in the much noted Pirate Bay trial could have been biased and a retrial may be issued. According to public radio SR is Judge Tomas Nordström member in several associations treating copyright issues.

Anyone who unloaded an Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 during the dying days of Circuit City had best hope they deleted all their private information, including credit card numbers and adult material, because it turns out that Circuit City didn't.

To quote: Kotaku was contacted by a reader who works in a refurbishing facility that bought some of Circuit City's stock of pre-owned Xbox 360,...

Following up on the article from a few days ago: Sony will use Intel's Larrabee graphics chip in its upcoming PlayStation 4.

To quote: We know for a fact that Jeffery Katzenberg at DreamWorks likes Larrabee- a lot. That apparently was one of the reasons DreamWorks dropped Advanced Micro Devices.

So, chalk that up as one big win for Intel's somewhat-murky next-generation graphics...

The recent trend, which apparently began with a new rash of PS3 hate, has assaulted the Internet and we're already feeling the negative effects.

You know, when narrow-minded 'journalists' make certain inane proclamations in an ill-advised attempt to present their opinion as fact, everyone suffers. Now, they're actually trying to prove a point with completely irrelevant...

Having not ever been an owner of a PS3 or PSP, I wasn’t aware of the bias that retailers are showing towards the PlayStation 3 console.

One of the guys that I work with is a huge PlayStation fan. Not a fanboy, mind you, but a normal person who happens to like the PS3 over the 360.

I’ve heard him talk about it before, but I’ve always passed it off as...

Japan is a very important territory for the video games industry. Although it is smaller than either the USA or Europe, what happens in Asia can affect the rest of the world’s markets substantially.

Which is why the fact that the Playstation 3 has caught up substantially with the Wii during June is big news. The Xbox 360 of course is still trailing far behind, and the...

Some racing games tread the fine line between realism and fun. If it's too realistic you need to be Hamilton to get around the course without writing off your motor, and if its too forgiving, hardcore gamers cast it away as arcadey.

But it's this balance that Ferrari Challenge seems to have struck just right. When you slam down the accelerator, the eruption of the engine...
