170w ago - Today European Product and Development Manager Allison Walter at NIS America has announced that PSP title "The Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman" will immediately be referred to as "What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!?" due to an unintentional IP conflict.

To quote: I have a few bits of important news to announce!

The first is, Badman has decided to change his bad image, or at least his name. Let it be known: The Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman series will immediately be referred to as What Did I Do to Deserve This, My Lord!? The original title had a conflict of interest with an existing IP and it was not NIS America's intention to create any conflict.

This new title is intended to better represent the game's whacky retro dungeon world and connect the player's awareness with the overall theme of the game. Phil, give us a drumroll to introduce the new game cover...

Due to the name change the game, Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman!: What did I do to deserve this? will be temporarily unavailable from the PlayStation Store. The game will return as soon as the new name process has been completed.

178w ago - NIS America, Inc's PR/Marketing Coordinator Nao Zook has revealed that Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! 2: Time to Tighten Up Security! for PSP is hitting PSN today alongside a video (below).

To quote: Hello, Happy Holidays to everyone here. A demo for Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! 2 is will become available on PSN today! Once the Store updates this afternoon (Pacific Time), you'll get to play 6 Training Stages and 3 Stages of another area in the demo!

Badman 2 has gotten lots of upgrades from the original Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This? Of course, there will be more heroes, monsters types, stages, and so on. But what I like about Badman 2 most is "MUTATION!" Slimemosses, Bugs, Lizardmen, Spirits, and Liliths will mutate under an environmental and ecological crisis! Well, it's not necessarily a bad thing.

These mutated monsters will have different attributes and skills from the original monsters. So you want to see which mutated monsters would do best for your dungeon first, then you can decide which one to create! The types of mutated monsters include: Abnormal, Giant, and Pure types. If you meet certain conditions, your monsters will mutate into even rarer monsters!

187w ago - Today NIS America, Inc's PR/Marketing Coordinator Nao Zook has announced that starting today you can pre-order Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! on PSP UMD.

To quote: Seeing how much you guys are interested, we've decided to start the pre-order for the Badman UMD at RosenQueen.com. However, in order to make it possible for us to manufacture the UMD, we will have to get at least 1000 orders.

So we decided to start accepting pre-orders for the UMD (ends 11/13), and IF we receive at least 1000 pre-orders, we will start the manufacturing process.

If we can get some support from retailers, we will make the Badman UMD even if the pre-order does not reach 1000 orders by 11/13! 204w ago - Today NIS America, Inc. PR/Marketing Coordinator Nao Zook has announced that Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! for PSP is making its way to Sony's PlayStation Store next month.

To quote: NIS America has decided to release Badman exclusively on the PlayStation Network on July 16, 2009. The reason we're going this direction is because the demo version of Badman on PSN was so surprisingly well received, and we thought Badman would be the perfect title to test the waters of this download-only release opportunity on PSN.

Badman is a relatively small title in terms of download size, and with a PSN release we can provide this title to our fans for only $19.99. We hope that you all are happy with this decision :-)

It's called "Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This?" Now, I know the title is super long. In fact, it just might be the longest, and craziest, title in videogame history! But actually, we at NISA are pretty happy with this name.

So anyway, you must be wondering what this game is all about.

"Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman!" is a strategy game with an RPG feel to it. You play as the God of Destruction, and you must save Badman, the underground overlord from various heroes. Badman is helpless and whiny, but once in a while he finds the cajones to question your actions. Sounds like Badman is a real pain in the butt, huh? But he's also got some hilarious lines, so we're sure you'll have fun with him.
