To quote: Hey budding C.O.U.N.T.E.R agents! David Nottingham, (Dynamighty Creative Director) here with some exciting CounterSpy news!

Yesterday, the good folks at Sony, along with our co-conspirators at C.O.U.N.T.E.R declassified the Release Date information for CounterSpy.

The day that you will be able to get your hands on CounterSpy (and hopefully prevent this crazed superpower plot to destroy our moon), is August 19th in North America.

For those who are not familiar, CounterSpy is an Action Stealth side-scroller from Dynamighty (that's us) set during the Cold War. You play as an agent for C.O.U.N.T.E.R, whose singular goal is to prevent the superpowers from accomplishing their crazy race to destroy the moon with nuclear missiles.

The August 19th PSN release is for PS4, PS3 & PS Vita and the price is $14.99. As a reminder, the game is Cross-Buy & also Cross-Save, so purchase it once and you'll have a copy on all three devices!

As we count down to that date, we've also got some help from some talented folks at PlayStation, who helped us by putting together this launch...

Naughty Dog: How The Last of Us Remastered Enhances Multiplayer

50°
6d ago - Naughty Dog Community Strategist Eric Monacelli shared details today on how The Last of Us Remastered enhances multiplayer on the PlayStation 4 console.

Below are the details, as follows: The Last of Us Remastered launches next week in North America.

We'll be revealing some upcoming DLC and streaming a basic introduction to the multiplayer mode, Factions, live later this week over on our Twitch channel. We plan to show off the new features for PS4 as well as give our primer for those not familiar with the mode on Thursday, July 24th at 11:30 AM Pacific and 5:30 PM Pacific.

If you can't watch the Twitch stream, we asked Erin Daly, Lead Multiplayer Designer, and Quentin Cobb, Game Designer, a couple of questions about Factions multiplayer mode in the game. If you're new to the world of Factions, this is a great primer.

If you're a hardened survivor with a clan that never diminishes, read on to hear about some exciting developments we were able to make in The Last of Us Remastered.

Q: Why is the multiplayer mode called Factions?

Quentin Cobb: We wanted the online multiplayer to focus on the larger story of the player representing a faction (Fireflies or Hunters) and rebuilding their own clan in that faction. This grounds the online matches...

Playrise Digital: Table Top Racing Coming to PS Vita on August 5th

6d ago - Playrise Digital CEO Nick Burcombe announced today that Table Top Racing is coming to PS Vita on August 5th, 2014.

To quote: Hi, I'm Nick Burcombe, head of Liverpool-based indie development studio [Register or Login to view links]. We've joined forces with publisher [Register or Login to view links] to bring our award-winning game Table Top Racing to PS Vita on August 5th.

I was part of the original team that created WipeOut back in the mid '90s for PlayStation, and I have always loved combat racers and driving games above all other genres - games like Micro Machines and Mario Kart.

So when we were looking at building a new racer, it felt natural to reference those classics when crafting Table Top Racing. We set out to capture some of that essence of what made them so much fun, and I think we've done a pretty good job on that front!

Table Top Racing features a host of crazy tracks complete with shortcuts, over-sized obstacles, jumps, and all manner of other hazards. As the game picks up speed, you need to understand the best racing lines and drift momentum you can get with some of the later cars - it's pretty frantic.

We've included one shot weapon power-ups which give players a temporary advantage, be it a speed boost, missile...

Sacra Terra: Kiss of Death PS3 Launches July 8th on PlayStation 3

50°
4w ago - Alawar Entertainment Product Manager Polina Belavskaya announced that Sacra Terra: Kiss of Death for PS3 launches on July 8th for the PlayStation 3 entertainment system.

To quote: Nothing can ruin a marriage proposal like an uninvited guest, especially when the guest is a demon that feeds on human suffering.

Mark had planned the perfect evening: first, a romantic dinner at his girlfriend's apartment, then getting smothered with kisses after he popped the question.

He would have pulled it off, too, if it hadn't been for the spell book he found on the terrace. AND if he hadn't read the ancient words scribbled on its pages. Has this guy never seen "Evil Dead?"

In a fury of flame and hell smoke, there she was: Lilit, complete with black lips, nails to die for (or die by), and a pair of devilish horns. In a flash, she snatched up Mark and dragged him to the underworld. Think of the last shot of "Drag Me To Hell" on steroids.

Tiffany, of course, wasn't going to let another woman steal her man, so she set out to get him back.

As you can tell, we had fun coming up with the scenario for Sacra Terra: Kiss of Death, a hidden object puzzle adventure available next week on PS3. We also had a good time designing the puzzles and crafting the locations.
