Video: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood PS3 DLC Hits PSN Tuesday

50°
199w ago - Ubisoft PR Coordinator Alex Monney has announced today alongside a video that Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: The Da Vinci Disappearance PS3 DLC hits PSN Tuesday.

To quote: This Tuesday, Ubisoft will be releasing its largest DLC offering for Assassin's Creed Brotherhood, the Da Vinci Disappearance. This DLC is bringing more AC: Brotherhood goodness with both single player missions and multiplayer content.

As the title suggests, Ezio's old friend and confidant is in trouble. Now Ezio has taken upon himself to rescue Leonardo Da Vinci. The Da Vinci Disappearance will include eight missions, which will be accessed through markers on your map of Rome (similar to the Copernicus Conspiracy). Ezio will also travel to two new locations and meet Leonardo's assistant, Salai (who may not have as high of moral standards as Leonardo).

But we didn't stop there, as we'll be making updates to multiplayer, including adding four new playable characters. Check out our new trailer showing off some of the new assassins that will be available:

The Da Vinci Disappearance will also include one new map and two new modes. The new map will bring the battle of assassins to Alhambra, a multi-leveled Spanish city featuring outdoor and indoor areas....

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is Working on PS3 JailBreak 3.41

1300°
215w ago - Today [C*] posted a guide on PSX-Scene with the help of plamenz on how to get Assassin's Creed Brotherhood working on PS3 JailBreak with PlayStation 3 Firmware 3.41.

For those already with the video game, here it is as follows: DO NOT SIGN ONTO PSN WITH THE BLES VERSION OF THIS GAME. IT ISN'T OUT UNTIL FRIDAY!

BLUS VERSION IS OUT NOW SO THAT'S FINE.

I have tested it on external with Hermes v4 with PSN, with disc inside. My Gaia manager didn't have the patch to 3.41 option, but I edited the game's .sfo anyway.

1. Install patch : EP0001-BLES00909_00-AC2TITLEUPDATE01-A0101-V0100-PE.pkg
2. Make empty folder ASSASSIN_ISO in USER DIR at BLES00909
3. Start Open Manager 2.1 +L2 patch to 3.41 ([C*] says: Or just edit the game's .sfo to 3.41)
4. Put some BD game
5. Start from BD icon
6. Wait for some mandatory install
7. Play the game and njoy

Tested 250GB Pal PL3+PSN iLLNESS. To be clear the folder has to be made in the folder of the game dump, not the update...

Video: Assassin's Creed Brotherhood: Dev Interview and Trailer

50°
219w ago - Sony's Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein has posted an interview with the development team of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood at Ubisoft Montreal answering some of fan questions about the game and sharing an Assassin's Creed Brotherhood story trailer, as follows:

One of the blessings (and curses) of working in this industry is getting to play unfinished games well before their release date.

The blessing part is obvious; we didn't hesitate to knock off work early to go play Assassin's Creed Brotherhood on PS3 at an [Register or Login to view links] preview event. Heck, that *is* work.

The curse part sneaks up on you later; after sampling the first 3 hours of the game, I've been dying to play some more - something we can't do until the game hits store shelves on November 16th.

Don't feel sorry for us - it was our job to quiz the development team from Ubisoft Montreal on what we saw, and Mission Director Gaelic Simard was all too happy to answer our questions and yours.

A bit more on those first few hours of the game (with as little in the realm of spoilers as possible)...

As someone who saw Assassin's Creed II all the way through to a Platinum Trophy, I was curious...

The Brotherhood Diaries

Entitled "The Perfect Nemesis," this new instalment in the Brotherhood Diaries discusses the increasing hostilities between Ezio and Cesare Borgia. Powerful, ruthless and well-defended, Cesare Borgia wields tremendous might as the ersatz ruler of Rome. Cesare may even have swayed some of Ezio's former allies to his side!
