194w ago - Today the Managing Producer Deborah Mars of SCEA's Santa Monica Studio has unveiled Fat Princess PS3 patch v1.05 details.
To quote: OK, we know it's officially Spring in most of the world, but we really just couldn't resist bringing a winter wonderland to Fat Princess PS3.
Today, March 25, we'll be releasing Patch 1.05 which now includes two new FREE snow-themed maps called Frost Bite and Candy Mountain.
We know many people have wanted new maps, and we're diligently trying to keep the community alive and together with these free maps.
And for those of you who have heard about Fat Princess and - gasp! - have not yet played it, now is your chance to grab the game and you'll get all of the original maps plus four additional maps for free!
We've also fixed a few issues recently brought to our attention:
• Warrior: Fixed to disallow shield activation when carrying objects, as well as attenuating damage against lava and drowning.
• Ice Mage: Changed level 1 area attack to slow enemies, not freeze them.
• Soccer map: Disabled online score saving for this level (sorry, all, but it was too easy to gain rank).
Last but certainly not least, we're happy to announce that our beloved princess has a hot new...
224w ago - An executive at Electronic Arts has stated that he expects to see a PlayStation 3.5 before the PlayStation 4 console's arrival.
Additionally, he expects the next version of the Xbox 360 to go 'half way' as well at Xbox 560 versus 720.
To quote: Rich Hilleman, Chief Creative Officer at EA, said: "I expect we'll see a PlayStation 3.5 before we see a PlayStation 4, and an Xbox 560 before we see an Xbox 720."
Hilleman's comments - made at a recent gaming event in the US, according to website Venturebeat - suggest that Sony and Microsoft will try to update their consoles in stages, rather than replace existing models with brand new ones.
The incorporation of motion-capture gaming is likely to drive this process. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer recently suggested the company's 'Project Natal' motion-capture system will debut next year in a new Xbox 360.

Special Ops soldiers are immediately dispatched to the scene to retrieve the top secret shipment and one-by-one they disappear without a trace... until one month later, one of them suddenly walks out of the jungle.
Crazed and deranged, something in the jungle had ripped out his humanity, poisoning his soul. Something in the darkness had driven him mad... and followed him out.
"Shellshock 2: Blood Trails™ takes players to a Vietnam War unlike any they will have experienced before. This is a war where your enemy doesn't just want you dead... it wants to rip...
