PSNope v1.06 By User PS3 Homebrew Application is Now Available

19w ago - Following up on the previous updates, today PlayStation 3 developer user updated PSNope to version 1.06 (Test) with the changes outlined below.

To quote: here were some requests for an update so here you are. Sony added some checks to syscall 870 in fw 4.55, but this update should make psnope pass these checks removing cfw calls should work again.

New Test Features:

  • Output content from the community log files (enable the debug_log option if you're running cex fw)
  • Cleanup community log files based on blacklisting. no idea if its useful or not...

No cobra fw support (and no plans to add support it in the future)

Anyway, i'm not really interested in updating PSNope anymore and if you want to play online with cfw i recommend to:

  • restore ofw syscall table
  • clean up all history and log files
  • restore ofw explore_plugin.sprx, nas_plugin.sprx and explore_category_game.sprx

There is no tool which supports all of these atm. oh, and don't spoof anything. PSN can check in theory...
 

PSN Patch v1.06 PS3 Application by KW for Custom Firmware Arrives

33w ago - Following up on his previous releases, today PlayStation 3 homebrew developer KW (via kokotonix) has updated to PSN Patch v1.06 for PS3 Custom Firmware, which allows users to temporarily disable their CFW, spoof their Console ID and more as detailed below.

To quote: PSNpatch 1.06 + STEALTH VERSION + COBRA PLUGIN for 4.XX CFW & COBRA 7.0

  • New vsh plug-in to auto boot with cobra 7.0 systems (the "true-STEALTH" experience) (see footnotes);
  • Added support for aditional cobra syscalls (these are hard to find, but it is safer to disable them also);
  • If cobra is detected the current and spoofed Firmware version are displayed;
  • This version brings news for Cobra 7.0 users. Other CFW users DO NOT NEED to update as ALL PREVIOUS PSNPatch VERSIONS are compatible with EVERY 4.XX versions (even 4.53).

To quote: Recently I have read Wololo's article "Best PSP/Vita Homebrew for November 2013" and noticed that my quite old "SKFU's VITA Pr0xy" is still being used by many people.

Sadly I kinda' missed to release an updated version of my proxy software anytime. Thanks to the great feedback for my old proxy, here comes the very new one: "SKFU's Pr0xy".

I did remove the "VITA" from it's name since it changed a lot after the release of my old proxy server software, I don't want people to think it is a limited to PSV piece of software. It definitely is not!

But what it is and what it got:
